Best Western Carlton Hotel

Great location on seafront, easy parking £5 until midday next day. Good buffet breakfast with vegetarian options in a dining room with sea view. Rooms are noisy, very thin walls and you can hear every word of people walking past in the corridor so take earplugs. Would stay again though, the staff are all very good and the place is nice and clean.

Happy about this hotel and everything! Would come again in summer, it’s too bad that it’s winter.

Very good Hotel , plenty of parking space £5 for parking a day that's good in Blackpool, Reception really good fill in a quick form and put car Reg into computer all done within ten minutes. Room number 304 , small but ok with sea view (Small window but still a nice view ) Iron and ironing board in room Tea , coffee , Hairdryer, plenty of hangers for your clothes, can't really fault it , except we found a big clump of hair ( not ours) in bath and hair on bath tiles , also dirty scuff marks on Ceiling above one of the beds , maybe paint ceiling wouldn't take long to do . Apart from that room was fine . Hotel bar good outside seating area was also very good especially on a hot day . Inside seating good plenty of room . You can pay cash in bar all day but after 10 pm it's card only ? . Breakfast well staff a great and food very good in fact it's one of the better ones we have had in Blackpool it's £12.50 per person . Some people came down for Breakfast and thought it was in with the price of the hotel ,but it does state Breakfast separate on some prices so just check when booking in. All on all very good Hotel good location good Breakfast . Just the Hair in bath and dirty marks on Ceiling let it down . Would we go again Definitely yes .

Not new, but fairly nice hotel. Well maintained. On the day of my arrival the staff couldn’t find an Iron and Iron board for the whole day and refused to give me any solutions. I came to judge professional sport event, and Iron my jacket and shirt was crucial! Extremely not helpful and careless. But on the next day of my stay, the hotel staff team has changed for another one and these people was very lovely, kind and helpful. They found solution and made my stay very pleasant! That’s why it is so important to be met by right people on your arrival. It is changing your impression from hotel upside down. The only reason I give 3 stars, instead of 5.

Suited my needs Ideal... Really looking forward to my next stay

After being charged £10 to park my car they then informed me it was an extra £100 for a double bed. This is not a hotel experience it’s a very poor B&B experience. If like myself you are six foot three tall please watch yourself in the corridors as some of them will hit you on the head without warning! I would say staying here you will realise why the British seaside has been in terminal decline.

Booked a superior double room for a short break. Was expecting a bit more comfort than I experienced in ROOM 210. Never had such a tiny bathroom. Shower is so small unable to shower comfortably. Water temp prone to suddenly increasing, and in fact it burned my chest. Cracked tile on the bathroom floor. Would have expected this to be repaired before putting residents in the room. Returned from a day out and the bathroom door was locked for some reason. The young man on reception came up and sorted this. I asked him if the room is actually a SUPERIOR room, bearing in mind the shower room. He confirmed it is classed as superior !! ALL the staff were lovely, particularly the young lady and gentleman at breakfast.(24th-26th April). Have used BW Hotels before and this room was poor compared to others. We did have a nice break here, but the room fell below expectations.
