I got the hotel for a good late deal price. The owner was friendly on arrival. The room itself was maintained to a high standard. The area is a friendly part of Blackpool for LBG people.

Absolutely dreadful. Staff totally unhelpful. Woman on reception “I only work here” night porter half drunk. Relocated me on third night but I declined and went elsewhere. Requested refund of third night. Won’t answer emails not available on phone. DO NOT STAY HERE!

We stayed in Blackpool for 3 nights but had to leave our previous hotel due to safety concerns very quickly. I called the new Osterley hotel and asked if me and the family could stay at short notice. The gentleman on the phone said yes and we were there and checked in within 20 mins (absolute life saver as we had 2 children and was relatively late) The room was clean and tidy and the beds were very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. And the price is very reasonable. The hotel was quiet so got a a couple of good nights sleep. The hotel does have a bar, pool table and football table. On the whole a very good experience and would recommend

Unfortunately not the best hotel we stayed in a family room with damp bulging walls paint and plaster pealing off. The carpet was thread bear and very dirty with stains. The double mattress was collapsed at one side there was stains on the bed base. Rips and holes in the bathroom floor and ceiling.water stains on the ceiling. Door locks hanging off. Curtain rails broken.no storage available. No wardrobe. Missing shelf's in bathroom. Hallway ceiling is covered with water stains. Lounge area has food debris in the window bay. Ripped and stained chairs. Basement court yard full of rubbish and broken chairs and glass.

There’s a lot of bad reviews about this place but to be honest at £54 for a family of 4 you get what you pay for. Me and my wife and two sons stayed one night so that we could have two days out round Blackpool with my little boys aged 2 and 4. Yea, it’s a very creepy looking old place. The floorboards are loose and creaking, there’s scratch and skuff marks on the walls and elsewhere. It looks as though it has been neglected for a long time and has fell into disrepair. The beds were clean but the room was very make shift much like most of the hotel. There was that foisty smell you get when damp is present although I wasn’t aware of cockroaches or any pests, there was an amusing moment where we were attacked by a giant black moth whilst trying to life a buggy up the steep narrow steps to our room. As I am terrified of insects I ran and knocked over a fire extinguisher which was propping open a door and accidentally broke my sons plastic potty in half and my wife twisted her ankle. It was hard to sleep on a night as the floor boards were so badly damaged throughout the building that it sounded as though giants were stamping up and down the corridors. The toilet in our room was so small that I had to squeez and contort my stomach around the sink in order to move between the toilet and the shower. When you sit on the toilet you are litraly facing into the sink which is ideal if you have S and D, it’s as though they have converted a really small pantry of cubby hole into a a toilet without an inch to spare. At around 2am I couldn’t sleep for the loud bang bang feet outside so I decided to have a shower. If you patiently wait for the shower to get warm after playing with it for a least 5 minits then the best you can hope for is temperate. It’s just about bearable. Which was ok because it had been very hot and I had a bit of sunburn on my face and arms so the cool was nice. Wouldn’t be any good in cold weather though. We got up early at left around 8 o’clock. It had served a purpose I suppose. I’m going to be kind and give it a 3 stars because despite its dilapidation, I believe the low price reflects the low quality and therefore we got what we paid for. Somewhere to put our heads.

READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE EVEN CONSIDERING THIS NIGHTMARE.. If I could give this place a minus review I would. Staff were rude and dismissive. Fire alarm went off and we were told to just ignore it, this alone should be reported to health and safety standards, woman behind reception said if it goes off again to stay in our rooms... Rooms were that of something you’d see in a horror movie. Unwashed bedsheets, doors and windows that didn’t lock, smell of death and damp across ‘hotel’, mould and dirt everywhere. If Kim and Aggy from how clean is your house came here they’d have a heart attack. Holes and gaps in the ceiling where you could practically see into the room above. I wouldn’t be surprised if they didn’t have hidden cameras in those rooms, I definitely wouldn’t recommend getting undressed.. someone else left a review on here saying the man on reception had his pants down behind reception.. so one can only dread to think. Holes in walls, unidentifiable stains were basically the wallpaper. We even passed a room that looked like the floor had come from the blackpool pier, un carpeted and damn right scary. Any carpet that was actually there had never seen a vacuum. Imagine the worst place on earth and here it is. My partner asked for the toilet and was sent into what could only be called a basement of horror. Filthy discarded mattresses, bed frames and god knows what else was down there. It looked like it lead onto some sort of kitchen.. if they serve food here, I pray nobody eats it.. Glorified homeless shelter being sold as a hotel. I wouldn’t trust leaving anything of value in any part of this hotel. This place needs closing down or torn down, either way it should not be allowed to be open.

The person who owns the place got a bargain paying £600,000 for it! Quality establishment, really spacious rooms and the handheld shower is a nice touch with the carpet in the bathroom to soak up all the water.

This has to be one of the worst hotels in Blackpool. Lucky enough we only booked for one evening and that was enough. No hot water in the taps or shower. Place was dirty and like a scene from the 70s. The owner likes to follow up with smart replies knowing you cannot reply on ***********. But it scores speaks volumes on all forums. We come to Blackpool almost every weekend and this has been the worst place we have ever stayed in. The advert has been changed now, but they did advertise free parking but no such thing, nearest one is £19 for 24hrs. If you want a decent stay don’t stay here and read all the other views.
