A very warm welcome to the Hogmanay party. Buffet and drinks, games and karaoke. The hosts behind the bar are fabulous. Alyth is just a lovey wee place where community spirit shines through. You are made to feel extremely welcome. The hotel has recently been refurbished to a lovely standard and has a wonderful cosy feel to it. I highly recommend a visit. We will be back

This is a very well ran Hotel, Me and my better half have just got home after having yet another great night at the Alyth Hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful and go the extra mile. It was our 3 time in this Hotel for a stop over. Looking forward to the next time. The Breakfasts are to die for. Till the next time thanks Dawn and rob. From Newcastle.

I didn’t stay at this hotel, but had a lovely evening meal. The food was delicious, beautifully cooked, attractively presented and the portions were very generous. There were adequate vegetarian options. Compliments to the cook/chef who was on duty this evening! The staff were very friendly and efficient. I would highly recommend this restaurant! Thank you.

Lovely, friendly staff and nice food. We didn't stay at the hotel, went for dinner which was very tasty, maybe a little over priced but enjoyable. Just popped in on spec and was pleasantly surprised. Doesnt look much from the outside and the interior could with updating however we sat the window and enjoyed people watching while waiting for our food.

Walking the Cateran Trail over Easter weekend, son and I found ourselves in need of overnight accommodation in Alyth. Contacted hotel by phone only about two hours before we were to arrive in town: there was one twin room still available here. Described as a 'tradesman's room' it proved to be much more than this: a large and very well appointed family room with double and two single beds. En suite was more than acceptable and the room had tea/coffee facilities and TV. Linen, curtains, carpet and décor all in excellent condition. We arrived too late in the evening to dine but breakfast was included and proved to be first class in presentation and quality,

Very friendly service and delicious (and good value) food. Currently the hotel is operating a buffet-style dinner. Food was very good quality (curry was especially tasty) and plentiful. Moreover the dining area has been decorated very tastefully, ensuring that there is a great a**osphere. Excellent!

Called in for dinner on the off chance and we’re warmly greeted by the same lady we met 3 years ago while in Alyth. She’s a doll. Very homely person and very attentive. Our meals were served promptly and both steak pie and steak dinner were really tasty. Thanks to the staff also.

Great meal- simple menu well done! Generous portions- lovely wee side salads. Particularly recommend the Alyth Tower Burger. Cosy environment with friendly service. Fair prices. Central location within Alyth with parking opposite.

Very pleasant experience, attentive, friendly and prompt service and good value. I was especially taken with the young couple who run it. Restaurant part was very quiet on the Thursday we turned up and it was nice just looking through the window at the street outside and being acknowledged by more than one or two passers-by!
