Very kind staff.
no soundproofing; no space to put your things in the bathroom, the bathroom door is completely damaged, a very small window in the bedroom which overlooks a very small enclosed courtyard and faces the window of the neighboring bedroom. A small fan to compensate for the lack of air.

Reservation made for several months and Gold customers we hoped to benefit from a more attractive room. A window opening into a light well on the 1st floor (room 110) without natural air, just a fan, without shutters to ward off the heat and in addition facing the exterior air conditioning compressors. I was already questioned when I arrived because I didn't I couldn't find room 110 and for good reason, the only room on the floor without a number. Is this an emergency room?? .in any case, refuse this room, especially in summer. you cannot sleep there as the heat is unbearable.

We stayed two nights. The beds are very good, the bathroom has everything you need and a good built-in wardrobe. There is no A/C, but the ceiling fan did its job and with very little noise, no problem sleeping. Large public parking spaces just behind the main entrance. It also has a rear entrance. The correct buffet breakfast, adequate for the number of clients staying. All clean.

Just returned from a long weekend in Blanes and a great stay at Hostal Miranda. I was worried having read some previous reviews but there was no reason to be once we arrived. The first impression was how really clean the whole place was. The rooms were comfy and the staff incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Yes its basic, but what do you expect on this budget. I would agree that the rooms could do with aircon but we were happy to open a window. The road was far from the "main road" suggested by others but if noise bothers you, just take some earplugs and you'll sleep all night. Beach is very close both the old town side and the tourist (Dutch) side. The local bars are very welcoming (especially Shamrock Bar) and the supermarket 2 doors down is really usefull. Overall a great choice on a budget.

A horror I don't know where to start... dismal and poorly frequented street, very old and very dirty establishment. Room comparable to a prison cell without air conditioning so you have to sleep with the window open and the icing on the cake is a funfair open until 2 a.m. below our window. Finally, the manager doesn't want to hear anything about our dissatisfaction and charges us still the room when we left…
