Lovely château with great service and just the right amount of luxury just outside of Bordeaux. The team did an outstanding job of making us feel at home and well cared for. The property and the château are stunning. We look forward to a return visit soon!

Un hôtel à découvrir, avec des chambres de très bonne qualité. Le parc est magnifique. La ballade sur les bords de la Garonne est aussi à faire. Bizarrement peu de clients, nous n'étions que 3... Et le bar à vin en libre service est aussi une excellente idée... Le petit déjeuner est au top. Bref, Allez-y

We first stayed in 2022 and decided to come back to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday in June of 2023. We requested the Suite Chic and enjoyed a private balcony overlooking the back lawn with a beautiful view of the River Garrone. It was the perfect setting to enjoy a very special bottle of Bordeaux.

Chateau Grattequina is lovely and a nice distance away from the craziness of Bordeaux. We stayed in the largest suite and it was overall quite comfortable, aside from the beds not being the best. The service was great and everyone there was so friendly. My only tip is to skip the breakfast service if you want more than bread and fruit for €22. The eggs were “scrambled” but with uncooked yolks and whites so we didn’t eat them and ended just had coffee, juice and cereal/bread each day. Not a good value but it was convenient. We also had the cheese plate when we were there which was quite good. The living room area downstairs is nice and they have a machine with nice wines to try. We took the boat ride and it was fun seeing Bordeaux from another angle. Aside from a big company event that was there one day, it was very quiet and relaxing. They helped us rent a car when we arrived, had it delivered to the hotel and arranged for us to drop it off at the airport when we left. It was very convenient and great service. From the hotel it’s an easy drive to wineries, the town and anything else you may need.

Probably the best place we’ve ever stayed! It feels like something out of a fairytale. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. The staff is always extremely friendly and ready to assist with anything you may need. If this resort had a full service restaurant it would be the greatest place EVER! Even without it they do have a really good breakfast and some great snack options like cheeses and bread. The pool is lovely and the ambience is just out of this world!

Beau château, bel accueil. Personnel jeune et sympa.
La chambre que nous avions qui devait être la plus petite, par contre, mérite d'être refaite…
Des trous dans les fauteuils, un mobilier vétuste, sans goût particulier.
Dommage qu'il n'y ai pas de restauration chaude pour les repas.
La piscine était bien, mais il manque des boissons par ces chaleurs... Pas de service à la piscine.
Le petit déjeuner était très bien.
