Such a cool little hotel in Blarney. When you first look at it you are thinking it looks nice but they must have the typical European small room. Boy was I wrong. The room was large and super clean. As far as the icing on the cake the staff could not of been better. The girl who greeted us named Laura was exceptional!!There is no elevator so you have to go up steps and they grabbed our bags to our room. Another pleasant surprise was how good the food was. Bothe dinner and breakfast were exceptional. There is not a lot to do as the town is small and they only have a few restaurants close by but we were only there for 1 night after visiting the Blarney Castle.

What a find! On entering the hotel on a very busy Bank Holiday weekend we were immediately greeted by one of the excellent, friendly members of the team and shown to our room, and wow, it exceeded all our expectations, it was beautiful and comfortable. The care and attention taken with this hotel was obvious. First impressions were amazing and it didn’t stop there. Breakfast was served until late so, unusually, we didn’t have to rush and had time for a cup of tea in bed each morning, luxury. Breakfast was plentiful, varied and delicious, including scones fresh from the oven. We also ate lunch and dinner in the hotel which again was delicious. We were helped with bus times and directions, in fact nothing was too much trouble despite how busy the staff were. This family run hotel’s atmosphere was incredibly friendly and relaxing and we wished we were staying longer. They have set the bar incredibly high!

If you plan to see the Blarney Castle, I highly recommend you spend the night at this quaint hotel. It is literally steps from the castle property making a daytime visit super easy, no car needed. The hotel offers an amazing breakfast selection of extremely generous portions and fresh scones. After a day of sightseeing at the castle or a short drive into Midleton to visit the Jameson Whiskey Distillery, you can have a lovely dinner at the hotel restaurant or enjoy drinks in the pub. The staff, atmosphere and locals were over the top friendly and welcoming. We happened to be in the hotel pub on a night with live music. There was nothing more magical than everyone singing together and bonding over a shared love of music and spirits. My only caution is all rooms are in 2nd or 3rd floors and only accessible by stairs. I’m sure staff could help carry up luggage if asked but we didn’t find it to be an issue. Honestly though, I can’t recommend this hotel enough.

The food in the bar was excellent. We had four different types of meals and all were excellent as was the service. The warm fire was a bonus on a cold January day. We had chowder . Quesadilla, lasagne and a wrap. All were plentiful tasty and well presented.

Six of us had a really lovely time yesterday . We had booked and sat in the Bar near the fire. We were so well looked after, The Menu had plenty to choose from with a long list of the Daily Choices . We all eat different meals and everyone was really happy, Thank you to the kitchen Brigade for that. Desserts were excellent too and then the Mince pies served with our Coffee. Service was perfect - efficient and friendly. Santa was in town so Blarney was really busy . We had no problem at all parking right outside the door. It is a wonderful venue for friends to meet. We so lucky to have it. We will be back to meet there again as it is so much easier than going into the City.

This family run hotel is consistent with the standard of service, great food, and warm welcome. The rooms are well proportioned with the most comfortable beds. I wouldn't stay anywhere else if in the region. The dinner menu is super, and the portion sizes are v generous. The breakfast will set you up for the day. Ian and Una excel at what they do.. provide a home away from home!

Absolutely brilliant hotel. A stone throw away from the castle, local restaurants and pubs Comfortable beds, nice bathroom with amenities. Breakfast was lovely and well made to order. I am surprised how is this a 3 star hotel when it deserves a 4 star rating Thank you Ian and Una for an amazing stay See you all soon . Silante..

This hotel is absolutely charming. The staff are lovely and so welcoming. Our room was beautiful with wool blankets at the foot of the bed from the woolen mills. The pub was fun at night and the food was amazing!! The hard work and dedication made our experience exceptional!

Our first trip to Ireland and celebrating our 30th Anniversary! Everyone that worked here was so amazing! We loved our trip and appreciate all you did to make our trip extra special. We ate dinner in the pub and loved the people, the food and the selection, and the band. The band was exceptional and played our special request Danny Boy. They were really good and brought tears to my eyes as I remember my uncles singing this when I was so young. Breakfast was great too! The Blarney Castle was a five minute walk. Location was perfect. Rooms were on the smaller side, but comfortable and had everything you needed. Shops all around. For us, what made it perfect was the people and the location. We will be back. Thanks for the memories! You have amazing staff!!!
