For a hotel with a history, it has gradually become the best hotel in the area near Greysir after two generations of efforts. Not to mention that the hotel facilities are of high quality, the room space and materials are of high quality. For me, a person who pays attention to details, it is more than 90% satisfied. And the service is very friendly! The room bath uses Soley, a well-known herbal skin care brand native to Iceland. The overall feeling is friendly, real, and the texture is low-key luxury! By the way, the geothermal fountain⛲️ is right across the road from the hotel. Just walk over!

The room is relatively small, and the location is OK. There are supermarkets, restaurants, etc. nearby. It is acceptable to stay for one night, but it is not suitable for a few nights. The room is too small. Staff are very friendly

The size of the single room is okay, the environment is open, and it is close to the commercial facilities of the town. The big geyser is across the road from the hotel. Free parking, paid breakfast at the high-end hotel next to it, which is more abundant.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed! Hotel staff is kind, attentive and accommodating. The rooms are spacious and luxurious. We had a suite and a double. The staff placed us right across the hall from each other; perfect for the kids! The breakfast is high quality with so much variety - something for everyone! American, European, and traditional Icelandic foods. I highly recommend trying their rye bread. I'm not a rye bread person but this was delicious! There are so many comfortable areas in the hotel to relax and enjoy the views, including in your own room! Dinner at the restaurant was absolutely delicious as well with wonderful staff.

Beautiful place. But Rude staff in the restaurant. Limited menu literally no choice. Additionally a hotel this class should have a Sauna and spa as minimum given its location and thermal opportunities. It’s very sad that the choice of food is so limited quite shocking given the quality of local food available like Icelandic lamb fish and other smoked delicacy, The Americans and Eastern humans will be shocked there’s not even a burger let alone smoked puffin goose or Caribou! Sad 😡

I stayed at the hotel with my family for the Christmas buffet for a special occation. The room was nice, the food very good and service ok. However I thought it would be a cosy dinner but it was quite the opposite and the atmosphere was very, very disappointing. They played loud music the whole time and not a single Christmas song. When we asked if they could turn it down just a little so we could talk the answer was "we are just getting the party started" which I found strange, if I had known it was supposed to be a party I would not have booked this place. But to be fair they did turn the music down a little for about an hour or so. I don´t think I will be returning for a Chrismas buffet there.
