The hotel staff were paranoid about being paid. It hardly made us feel welcome. Plus the shower was weak and not warm.

Nice hotel in excellent location. Good breakfast. Evening meal outstanding and reasonable prices. Friendly helpful staff. Would recommend for a pleasant stay in a lovely village. Well stocked bar/ pub in hotel with a good selection of drinks at fair prices.

The staff at Crown Hotel in Blockley, Cotswolds, was exceptionally welcoming and consistently went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The rooms were incredibly cozy and charm, perfectly complementing the picturesque beauty of the village. The food was fantastic, offering a delightful culinary experience. Additionally, convenient parking was available, making the stay even more hassle-free. The bed was extremely comfortable, providing a restful night's sleep.

6 of us went here today, excellent food, excellent service. We definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area.Hard working staff go above and beyond. Wishing you continued Success. Our first visit here,and we will be returning to this Beautiful part of the World. I must add, you must also visit the local village shop, most accommodating. Such a BEAUTIFUL Experience

I found a very warm and friendly welcome on arrival and my room was spotless. The bed was extremely comfortable and I slept well. As a solo guest, and aged 75, I did find the many stairs and steps very difficult, and there could be better rails put up around the access from reception to the access to the rooms. Also a rail the bathroom to be safe when stepping into the bath to use the shower. I ate in the bar after my arrival, which was busy and pretty noisy but everyone was friendly. My soup was awful, the caesar salad just OK. Breakfast was in the very pleasant dining room and set out well. I opted for a light buffet only having toast and coffee which was fine. Helpful staff were always smiling and helpful.

Limited menu but food was lovely. Room, bathroom and bedding spotless. Staff helpful when asked but very quiet in demeanour generally. Enjoyable stay but lots of things need a refresh from dining chairs to decking area out the back. More signage needed.

Enjoyed the stay here in a traditional Cotswold hotel. Quirky building that could do with a little tlc but the owners were very friendly and attentive and the breakfast very good. We would return if in the area. Bar closed very early due to lack of customers which surprised us when returning for a last drink after a meal out. Understand the reasons but made it quite an early night!
