This small traditional hotel is located in the town of Blonduos just off route 1. A large river meets the sea at the end of a finger of land so the hotel has a lovely position. We opted for a standard room which was ok-not huge but with comfy beds and a decent shower room. I wasn’t expecting a sea view (costs more) but there was only a tiny corner window which made the room a bit claustrophobic. We ate dinner on our 1 night stay which we enjoyed-only a couple of options. Breakfast had all the usual offerings. Note there isn’t a lift if you can’t manage heavy luggage but the staff are v willing to assist.
