Where to start? I rented a room that could sleep 6, I left my adult children's names at the front desk so they could get keys when they arrived, I was going to be out when they came. The staff at the reception counter was extremely rude. Told them there were no keys for them, without even asking their names, made everything difficult. My daughter in law is on crutches from just having hip surgery and wanted to know the best way to the room, during this initial interaction, the lady at the desk wouldn't even look up from scrolling on her phone, just pointed and said elevator, which was not the best way to get to the room. Our room was in the opposite corner. She could have suggested they park near the entrance by the elevator that goes straight up to the room. We came down one morning for breakfast, close to the breakfast closing....we didn't have a long time to order hot food, which was fine, however, one of the employees starts yelling you have 5 minutes to place your order, which was fine. It got frustrating when we sat down to eat and were told we had 7 minutes to eat and clear the area. Go back to your rooms. No explanation as to why, just clear the area go back to your rooms. I felt like we broke some rules and were being punished. Being yelled at. One very nice young lady did come and explain that there was going to be a wedding in the atrium and they had to set up. Well, dang, some pertinent information. We could be very understanding with some decent explanation. Besides the food wasn't good anyways, but what can you really expect? So, finding out there is a wedding in the atrium was very interesting..... When we rented the room, we planned on gathering in the atrium for my daughter graduating from nursing school, we checked in advance and were told that was no problem. As a guest of the hotel, it would have been nice to know that the Atrium was not going to be available. So, when the wedding finally cleared and the atrium was reset, we were able to get together for my daughter. Most of the evening went well from that point, until my daughter went to the front desk looking for pool towels. The lady there (same as the night my son arrived) said, "the kids are not supposed to be in the pool now". My daughter said that is why they were looking for towels to get them dried off to go back to the room. The comment from the lady at the desk was JESUS, and gave no assistance for towels. During the pool lime there were adults in the pool with a case of glass beer bottles, drinking them in the pool area and vaping. While we were sitting in the Atrium with our family, we were told it was time to go back to our rooms, however, there were other groups in the same area that were not asked to leave. I tried talking to the front desk about the temperature in our room. I could not get it to go below 74 degrees. It was ridiculously hot. All they said they could do to help is provide a box fan. So, to stay 7 days in a room that wa
