I was in town for an in-hotel event. The hotel is very near the airport, and there was a shuttle to pick me up. BE SURE IT'S THE RIGHT SHUTTLE! There is a Doubletree - Bloomington which also sends a shuttle, and that is an hour drive away! You want the Doubletree Airport! Anyway -- the space is very nice. The room was comfortable and quiet. Beds and lavatories well appointed, the shower roomy and with good water temp/pressure. I was disappointed with their room service; they offer it as an amenity, so I ordered breakfast room service the first day. I was expecting a tray and silverware, etc., but when it arrived, it came in take-out plastic boxes in a plastic bag, and I was handed a cardboard cup of coffee -- just like DoorDash. So, points off for that. In-Room dining was not good. The bar was excellent. The restaurant was fine, if over-priced with a limited menu, but that's what one expects in hotels. There is a coffee-shop in the lobby with pastries, etc. as well. The event rooms were clean and well lit. But the bathrooms were few and far between, which seemed strange considering their fine conference rooms. All-in-all, I enjoyed my 4-night stay. Room was cleaned every day promptly. No hassle check-in or check-out, and shuttle back to the airport.

Restaurant/bar is excellent. The food is first class, especially the walleye which is always good. Sean is the bartender and server who provides excellent service. We have been here numerous times, both as a couple and with our family,and always are happy. It’s quiet and enjoyable.

My wife and I have been staying at this property for many years now. We average a couple of nights a month when we fly out of MSP. I am a Marriott Titanium lifetime member, and we were concerned when the hotel switched over to a Hilton property. Fortunately, my wife is a Hilton Diamond Hhonors member, and happily to say, the same people, the same quality of stay, and the same executive lounge benefit, the same friendly welcome…now with warm. Cookies! We were afraid we would lose our top fifty status with the hotel during the switch to Hilton, but it has been a seamless transition. The team at the MSP Doubletree are still committed to making our stay as enjoyable as possible. I have fifteen upcoming stays here, and I look forward to every one of them.

We had to carry my mother up a flight of stairs with my mothers walker…no elevator to that wing of the hotel……toilet was leaking and wouldnt stop running all night long

I loved the fact that it was within walking distance of the mall. The property was very nice, the room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and polite. I would definitely stay here again!

No hot tub, it was filled in with dirt and plants. No free coffee or breakfast. Hotel and onsite restaurant were quite expensive.
