Disappoin**ent. A beautiful old hotel gone long in the tooth. We were advised at check-in that we had been upgraded, and in actuality our room was pleasant, large and well decorated, but then we found that the deadbolt on the entrance door would not latch, the bathroom door would not stay closed nor was there even a hole in the jamb for the bolt to fit, bathroom floor had not been swept, one of two lightbulbs in the bathroom had burned out, coffee cups looked like they had only been rinsed out, not washed. A breakfast was offered, and the first day the food was good, including being served hot. But the second day was 180 degrees, the coffee actually tasted like it was left over from the night before, and was lukewarm when served, the waffle was so cold the the honey butter on top did not melt, the toast was dry and tasted like organic cardboard...should I go on?
