The location is good, within easy walking distance of the centre and its many bars and restaurants. Unfortunately, almost everything else was unacceptable. There were two drawers for guest use, both of which contained rubbish left by previous guests (plastic bags, pots of dried food, etc). The duvets on the bed were very thin and there was no additional bedding in the room. The coffee machine had not been cleaned and didn't work in any case. And last, just a minor point, but the time on the alarm clock was completely inaccurate (every other hotel we've stayed in on this trip has clocks showing the correct time). The Blowng Rock Inn barely earns the rating I've given.
