This was my second stay at Meadowbrook Inn, and it was as fun this time as the first. The room was well-appointed (extremely comfortable beds, a nice-sized mini fridge, good water pressure in the shower, etc.) The breakfast buffet was quite yummy! The location of the inn at Blowing Rock makes the whole town easily accessible. The staff is amazing! Christine and the front desk team answered all our questions, helped with directions, and made great dining recommendations. Highly recommended!

After a long hike along the Blue Ridge Parkway, we decided to stay in Blowing Rock. We were thrilled to pick Meadowbrook Inn for a last minute night. The grounds are beautiful with ponds, ducks, gazebo and a lovely garden. The staff were all super sweet. The breakfast was yummy. The room was very newly furnished and quiet. The only room left was 105 which has no window but still was fantastic. Next time we are in the mountains we will definitely stay here again and be sure to swim in the pool

Elevator was out of order all weekend. TV in bedroom was not working. Overall just needs a deep clean. Pleasant staff.

Very comfortable, easy access to down town, decent breakfast, and clean room. Best of all, it snowed! lol

Towels and sheets were stained. Rooms need any update. Elevators were out in entire hotel which was very inconvenient especially in carting luggage. Coffee mentioned in lobby was always old and cold

We arrived late but had the most wonderful check in gal. The elevator wasn’t working and she made sure we were okay walking up the stairs. Not a problem. I wandered out on the patio to see the fire pit last night annd it was so pretty out there. Our room was beautiful and spotlessly cleaned. Oh, and, it was quite spacious. Nothing amiss. The bathroom amenities were great and I thought the shower gel was excellent. The breakfast this morning was outstanding and the room where we ate was quite pretty. It’s not too often I’d say I’d return to a place because I love checking out new spots, but, for sure, we will be back.

The Inn was clean and welcoming but the wood furniture in my room was a bit beat up. What bothered me the most was that there is no guest bathroom on the first floor when you check in. The only available bathroom was in the basement between the pool and the workout room. So you have to walk through the locker rooms to have access to a public bathroom. The bathroom in my room was great. You have to go to the basement to access the lounge area where breakfast is served. Again a problem with no guest bath available. Then the elevator stopped working so you had to use the stairs to get to the lobby or basement or to go to your room on the second or third floors to find a bathroom. I just found it very troublesome. It's a shame they have no guest bathrooms available on the lobby floor or in the basement. And with no elevator it was challenging for those with walking and/or stair disabilities. They offer coffee 24/7 but you have to go to the desk to get hot tea. One of the front desk attendants was not pleased we asked for hot tea. The breakfast area did not provide hot chocolate for the children and when we asked they had none. They also did not offer any flavored coffee creamers. They did not serve breakfast until 7:30 so if you have an early appoin**ent good luck with that. It is not a place I would recommend to any person I know personally.
