Burg Vital Resort

Es ist sehr schade, wenn man in seiner Ski Location ankommt, dann aber die seit Jahren gebuchte und auch beim letzten Mal wieder bestellte Zimmerkombination dann nicht erhält. Es ist zwar richtig, dass uns auf der Bestätigungsnachricht ein andere Zimmername bestätigt wurde, ohne aber auf die Abweichung von der Reservierung hinzuweisen. Besonders schade ist es dann, wenn die Chefin des Hauses sehr arrogant und überheblich äußert: „Wir haben keinen Fehler gemacht.“ und sich ansonsten um das Unwohlsein und das Störgefühl beim Gast nicht schert. Die vorgenommene Bestätigung entspricht zwar der nunmehr angebotenen Zimmerkombination, der Hinweis, dass es sich um andere Zimmer als in den vergangenen Jahren und wie angefragt, handelt, wäre allerdings sehr nett und unseres Erachtens auch zu erwarten gewesen. Auffallend war ferner, die mehrfach zu monierenden Rechnungen, da einmal ein Wein, den man nicht konsumiert hatte, ein anderes Mal ein Frühstück trotz gebuchter Vollpension (?) - Ein Schelm, wer Böses denkt, hoffentlich kein System! Wir haben auf jeden Fall unsere Konsequenzen gezogen und sind zum Entschluss gekommen, dass dies unser Besuch letzter Aufenthalt in der Burg Vital war und haben für die nächste Saison ein anderes Haus gebucht, dass uns mit offenen Armen empfangen hat. We wish you luck, aber sofern die Einstellung und der Dienst am Gast sich nicht ändert, wird ein Stern nach dem anderen verglühen!

Ideal starting point for a great ski holiday, ski-in & ski-out! We definitely recommend booking half board, which can be served at lunchtime if required. The 6-course menu in the evening is excellent! The warm hospitality deserves special mention, from the chambermaid to the reception to the restaurant staff and even the Lucian family who own the hotel. Everyone helps out, as you would expect from a family hotel, but unfortunately this is increasingly rare. This hotel has probably the largest and highest-quality wine list we have ever seen. Restaurant manager Stefan and his deputy sommeliers recommend the perfect wines depending on the time of day and food preferences, and do so in an incredibly commendable, friendly manner! For families with children: daily childcare until 10 p.m. with a large selection of games, great! The only small criticism: the spa area is a bit dated for a 5*S hotel and is unfortunately spread across several levels throughout the hotel. The outdoor pool is a few degrees too cold for our liking (other hotel guests shared our opinion). There were also no loungers at the outdoor pool. Overall, a great stay, we'd love to come back! :)

Very friendly service, the food not at the expected level. Sole for €90 lukewarm, served almost cold, tasteless Wiener schnitzel, breading soft and light beige. Unfortunately rather disappointing, especially in comparison to the all-round upscale gastronomy on offer at the Arlberg

The room was always perfectly tidy and clean. We felt very comfortable. The staff were always friendly and tried to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The concierge was able to fulfill all of our wishes.

Everything that Burg Vital promised was kept 100%. The room was great, the service was always excellent and friendly. There was always a private word. The service team is helpful and lovely. You can completely let go, are perfectly looked after and feel really welcome.
