Schlosshotel Dörflinger

Hotel on the heights of Bludenz (the stairs to go back up are very tiring if you are going to eat in town!). We had a renovated room with very comfortable bedding and a very nice shower. The breakfast is top class. We ate one evening on the hotel terrace overlooking the city and it was very good.

I have been going on a golf vacation with my colleagues every year for more than 15 years. This year we chose the castle hotel in Bludenz and booked the seven nights & six green fees golf safari offer at the castle hotel. This was a very varied holiday week for all of us and we played on interesting golf courses. The package offers everything that is promised!!!! The rooms are a bit older (just castle rooms with gold fittings in the bathroom :-)) but very well maintained and very clean. The staff extremely friendly and nice. The food (3 course menu in the evening and once 5 course) was excellent and the menu to choose from is very varied. In terms of price/performance ratio, the offer is undefeated among all the hotels that we have booked for our golf holidays at home and abroad! Last but not least, the golf guests receive a nice gift here ;-) What we also thought was great was that the golfers were given a paper bag for each day of their stay in the hotel so that they could prepare a small snack for playing golf at breakfast. All in all…..perfect and highly recommended….we will definitely come back.

The castle hotel = a castle hotel. The magnificent view is one thing, the royal service increases the feel-good factor even more. In my opinion, a very special feature of the hotel is that it brilliantly transfers the charm of the 60s/70s into the present day. The rooms are wonderful in both the 'new' area and the original part, the garden and the atrium - occasionally filled with chilled (lounge) music - transports you to summertimes of love.... Perhaps a strained association, but true for the Dörflinger family: the hotel breathes holiday stories....and writes new chapters with each visit.

We always enjoy coming back to the castle hotel and enjoy the atmosphere in the wonderful garden/terrace, the mix of tradition and modernity, the warmth of the staff and the great service. The food was simply fabulous - beautifully presented and a feast for the palate. We are already looking forward to the next time and will come more often now.

The hotel is on top of a hill, with a wonderful view but at the same time it is in the old town, since it will take you two minutes walking to reach the town. You have to stay a few nights for business. The rooms were dated in style but spacious and clean. For work reasons I couldn't try breakfast because I left very early but dinner was always spectacular. Good attention from the staff and fabulous, well-presented dishes.
