Cheap ploys to con tourists. Breakfast is $8 if you purchase at checkin only ( read fine print). Show up at breakfast and pay $20 . Happy hour is 4-7 pm - only sodas and 1 cocktail is half price.

Lovely ocean view suite which was nice, quiet and peaceful to watch the days go by while working. Although early check-in wasn't available, there is luggage storage and access to the common lounge/restaurant area which was a beautifully decorated space to enjoy with the water swing, floaties and access to swim right from the deck. The front desk team were extremely friendly and helpful with checking in on stay and providing local information with tours. I loved that there was filtered water available to guests to reduce plastic bottles. Although one night the water cut-off but this is common on the island as they depend on rain so use mindfully. The included breakfast was also nice with international vegetarian options. Would not hesitate to stay here again, although it is a bit on the higher end if wanting the overwater rooms.

The best hostel I stayed at in Panama. Super modern and clean with excellent air con in the rooms and a lovely waterfront patio and bar area. The food I ordered wasn't very good (still frozen) and food and drinks highly expensive like everywhere in the area. Bocas itself is a dump and I thoroughly regret going. The only good thing I have to say about Bocas is the boat trips you can take to places that are beautiful and there is a pizza restaurant on the main drag that does the best pizza and also best chocolate cake I ever ate. Careful buying food in shops though, they don't gave air con, power often goes down for hours and there is an aroma of rotten food in shops and aroma of sewage throughout Bocas. Sewage goes in the seawater often directly so don't swim around Bocas.

Had booked King suite (room no. 29). Absolutely fantastic and great customer service upon arrival!
Wanted to extend our stay and after misunderstanding (which was rectified by them giving us a round of breakfast) we had to move to another king suite (no. 20). This was much more noisy, the room smelled of sewage, despite cleaning for an hour in the afternoon we woke up with the same terrible smell. The door to the toilet could not be closed properly. The view and privacy was definitely not the same as on the floor above.
Finally we extended but downgraded a bit to save some money. Had room 9, Just right with balcony. This cost DKK 1000, but in no way lived up to that price!
There were no beach towels, no safe, no mini-fridge, no lid for the toilet bowl (you must not throw paper in the toilet) and no exhaust in the toilet. In addition, very noisy from the rooms next door. Would definitely advise against that room at that price.
In general, we encountered slightly fluctuating service, but Rulo in particular was very service-minded and friendly.
The place is nicely located and in a quiet part of Bocas, easy by water taxi. Maintained and nice with sun deck.
The breakfast was fine.
Thus a very mixed impression. Both really good and bad.

Awesome place on the waters to spend great family time. Fantastic drinks and food, awesome company of fellow travelers. Francisca and Svea were great! Arulo was a great host and made our stay super fun!

This is a refreshing hotel, considering what is on offer in Bocas del Toro. The small but functional room has a very pleasant little terrace overlooking the water. The staff is very friendly. We really liked this establishment which I highly recommend. Excellent value !
