We had an amazing time. The staff are incredibly friendly, you can't beat the views and location, the amenities are pretty phenomenal and i'm pretty sure the onsite restaurant has some of the best food i've had.
If you're looking for nightlife this isn't the location, however. there isn't much around open after 8 pm but that was kind of the point of us staying here. so your experience depends on what youre looking for.

They advertise on ******* as being able to provide stow-aways. That's why I booked and drove an hour up north to the location. It was my two kids, myself and my mother. The room had two Queen beds and I needed a sofa/stow-away, SOMETHING for my mother or I. I was met by an unkempt employee at check-in who even though polite could not care less and told me I couldn't get any extra bed due to "fire hazard". I did not receive one even though advertised as being available. But to add insult to injury the clerk was as uncaring as you can get and kept telling me the only option was to get a $1,000 executive suite. I asked repeatedly if there was anything available, a room with two King beds at least or something to sleep on. But NO!. So I ended up sleeping on the floor on a few pillows under me. You can imagine how well I slept and how bad I felt the next day. This at a 4 star resort! Any place with a sense of customer-service would do something to help a customer, let alone a place that charges $400 a night.

This hotel is perfect! All of the staff were extremely friendly, the rooms and grounds are beautiful and the food was great at the lounge. We were so close to beaches, more restaurants and shopping. We will definitely be going back

Love staying at The Lodge. We always receive 5 star service and love the amenities that are included with our stay. Great value for a luxurious, cozy stay on the coast. We are having our wedding at The Lodge in November and can’t wait.

We’ve loved Bodega Bay Lodge for years. It’s a special place - peaceful, all rooms have decks or patios where you can enjoy a view of the bay and listen to the foghorn, and the staff provides exceptional customer service (even better than before). You’ve got everything you need on property - restaurant, bar, heated pool, hot tub with beautiful views, bocce, and fire pits. The rooms are lovely and most have fireplaces to keep you cozy. It’s the perfect place for a relaxing get-away.

A beautiful location for a peaceful and relaxing get away. The grounds and the location are lovely.. I was passing through town with my mother and only stayed one night. I can't wait to go back for a longer stay.

Spa facilities were lovely
Service was superb, outstanding
Room was spacious, really comfortable.
Bedding, towels, , robes,slippers. Toiletries etc,
We would definitely do this all over again.
Walk to state park on beach
Drive short distance to restaurant and shops
Restaurant at hotel was good, convenient, but not as good as terrapin creek restaurant in Town.
