Recently enjoyed a very pleasant four night stay at the Lanhydrock hotel. The hotel is in an excellent location for local attractions. The room was clean, well presented and the bar and restaurant serve quality and reasonably priced food. We found the staff all very polite, helpful and friendly. im Rahmen einer Rundreise nutzen wir dieses Hotel für drei Nächte. Etwas außerhalb gelegen, an einem sehr schönen 18-Loch Golfplatz zeigen die Zimmer entweder zum Golfplatz oder zum Parkplatz. Ich hatte ein Zimmer mit Blick auf dem Golfplatz. Die Einrichtung des Zimmers ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, trotzdem ist alles sehr sauber und das Bett ist bequem. Leider schließen die Fenster nicht dicht, so das man den kühlen Wind im Zimmer spürt. Sinn macht, hier ein Zimmer im Erdgeschoss zu buchen, da man dort eine kleine Terrasse hat. Die Servicekräfte sind sehr freundlich, alle Bereiche sehr sauber. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist nicht sonderlich umfangreich, aber okay. Die Küche zauberte uns zum Abendessen jeweils ein Dreigängemenü. Was recht schmackhaft war. Setzt man die Preise an, die dort aufgerufen werden, gibt es leider nur drei Sterne.

We stayed two nights and we liked almost everything about this hotel. Our room was comfortable, the bathroom was well-appointed, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. While the hotel is obviously golf orientated, non golfers can sit conveniently outside their rooms and enjoy the action on the 18th green. Breakfasts were good, and we also enjoyed a light lunch and an excellent dinner. The hotel is far enough from the beaches that, even in August, there was an aura of calm and a complete absence of buckets and spades. The breakfast coffee was a bit disappointing: I would think a high tech modern machine making fresh coffee would be a great improvement on vacuum flasks. But in all other respects it was a very pleasant stay.

Myself my husband and daughter have just returned from a trip with Emjay tours to The Lanhydrock Golf hotel I can’t praise it enough They have got every thing right Nothing was too much trouble by wonderful staff who do an excellent job The choice of food and quality you would go a long way to better All I can say to the Management/Owners well done I missed looking out at the golf course this morning Thank you for making out stay a very pleasant one

A fantastic golf club and hotel. Very peaceful and quiet place. Little pricey average nighly rate, however breakfast is included and is good. The amenities are excellent. Good sized gym with plenty of equipment. Super friendly and helpful staff. Nice pro style golf course. About 5 minutes from the town of, Bodmin and about 10 to Bodmin Parkway train station. Easy to get in and out of by taxi. Parnell Taxi has been around there for a long time and are reputable and efficient. Definitely recommended for any stays in that area.

What a gem. We really enjoyed our three night stay at this wonderful hotel. We had an executive twin which was comfortable enough, the bathroom was excellent. All of the staff are really nice and nothing was too much trouble for them. However, Clare in the restaurant was the real star of the team. The food was of a good standard and there's a wide choice on offer at breakfast. The views from the patio of the golf course and the surrounding countryside are just wonderful. The golf course together with the hotel grounds and approaches are immaculate. The staff in the Pro shop are very welcoming and were happy to chat. One area that could do with a bit of a refresh is the reception area, a few strategically placed diffusers would help create a better first impression. We loved our stay and would definitely go back.

Until this week I've never been to this hotel. Whether you're a golfer or just after a peaceful few nights in Cornwall I can quite categorically recommend this hotel. From entering to the bar, restaurant and finally your room the welcome is jolly and friendly. Their chef is spot on, food is excellent, nice variety, extremely tasty. 5 mins from the hotel is Lanhydrock House and gardens. I will come back again, next time it will be for pleasure and not work.

I wrote a review on Sunday, but it seems to have disappeared. We stayed the 26th and 27th for our anniversary. Clean comfortable room, but no view, but I didn't ask for one will ask next time. Lovely looking out at the golf green, geese and the surrounding area while having our meals. Food looked very good. My husband enjoyed his meals, they even made sure I had meals for my very small appetite. Breakfast was very good, great choice. All the staff were very friendly and Helpful. The manager Coin has a great team. Look forward to our next visit.

Booked for our anniversary for two nights. Comfortable, clean room, only down side no view. Will remember for next stay. I can't rate the hotel highly enough, beautiful setting, lovely to look out on to while eating meals. Morning visits from geese. Breakfast very good. All meals looked great. they even made sure I had meals for my very small appetite. The staff are all lovely, friendly and helpful. Colin the manager has a great team. Look forward to our next visit.
