Flying from Trondheim to Bodo above thick cloud I was treated to a spectacular display of the northern lights and this set the tone for my time in the arctic circle, where I was lucky enough to see the aurora on all 4 nights. Including from the hotel room. The hotel is great with a sensationally good breakfast. I had a Superior Double with sea view first night, then on return from the Lofoten Islands they gave me a free upgrade to a corner room and I photographed the northern lights out the window.

Lovely hotel. The only readon I gave 4 stars for the condition, was that there was some construction noise as the 3rd floor was being renovated - certainly a worthy cause. Beds were comfortable, and the buffet breakfast was great!

The hotel is fantastic and has a great location. Easy to find your way around. Clean and quiet. Easy to have a good time here :) Was for the occasion at Aspmyra which is a short walk away.
