Zera Bodrum

Hotel was lovely, for what you pay it’s a real amazing stay! Staff are friendly and always wanting to help! Rooms clean and tidy and pool area is lovely! For what you pay it really is worth every penny! I stayed twice and it just got better :) Thank you all at Zera!

What a beautiful place, in a good area near to beach & shops, we are here now in a lovely semi detached apartment lots of space & cleaned daily by the pleasant staff. Okan who has the restaurant & bar is always helpful with a smile, also the receptionist & manager have excellent customer service skills, what a lovely welcome we had. We 100 % recommend Zera bodrum Apartments. 🥳🏖️💕

The Zera hotel is fine for any family on a low budget. We got a reasonable last minute price from TUI, which was £220pp (self catering) per week. After our stay at the hotel, if we find ourselves looking at last minute deals at a low price, I would consider returning, but I wouldn't pay more than what we have paid previously, as there are some factors that should be addressed to make it a better place to stay. 1) AC costs £10 per day. In my opinion, this should be complimentary or factored into the holiday price. It reached 43° on our stay. 2) The cleanliness of the rooms upon arrival was questionable. It certainly hadn't been mopped. Our couch had chewing gum on and melted chocolate stains, which I had to sleep on. Thankfully fresh sheets were provided. Apart of this I do have sympathy for the hotel, as this shows a lack of respect from The previous people staying there. 3) The drains in the shower and the bathroom are certainly not cleaned regularly. 4) The appliances in the room are dated. 5) The pool was a good size and was generally not that busy, so my kids had plenty of space to enjoy themselves. The pool staff are friendly and helpful. However the prices for the quality of food recieved was not great. You could venture out and have a top quality meal including drinks for 500 Turkish lira more. It didn't make sense to eat there. 6) The toilets in the pool area were disgusting, again not cleaned regularly at all. Lights were not working, and it was just better to walk back to your room. Again though, I have some sympathy for the hotel as the people using the facilities are not respectful. However, the 4 day old skid marks in the toilets highlight that there are no cleaners attending regularly. There are toilet brushes FYI. 7) Wi-Fi is only useable in reception. The above factors did not stop us enjoying our first experience of Turkey. It is a lovely country and providing the price was suitable as stated above, I would consider returning to the Zera hotel. Hopefully my review helps others decide and the hotel takes my points on-board to improve. Please don't expect to pay £200 for a week and expect a stay at Buckingham Palace....It won't happen.

The room was very basic, shower wasn’t great and door was temperamental when locking but aside from that, we had a lovely time. Okan was great with the kids, pool was lovely and we got everything we expected from a budget, self catering holiday. Had to pay for air con per night which you need as the heat in the rooms is unbearable. Great location and lovely area.

Visited Zera apartment s again . Met a lovely family with 2 lovely young girls (you never received their cases but didn’t let it spoil their holiday . All bar staff were amazing . Good holiday and good weather. Will be visiting again . Enjoyed visit to Bodrum by local bus 45 to, and visited Bitez by taxi .250 tl Brilliant boat trips average £20 per person Had meals at Alfie Moons Casablanca peters and Denny’s on the Beach .

4/10- wouldn’t recommend. Consider looking for different options in similar location. We were a small group of young adult women who thoroughly enjoyed our time in Bodrum but felt entirely let down by Zeta Hotel Bodrum. No Wi-Fi, poor rooms, no air con, strange staff and bad food. Pool: The pool was good- it looks bigger in person than in photos. The music by the poolside was unbearably loud and repeated the same playlist 3x per day, so this becomes like torture if you want to stick around the pool area for longer than half of a day. We were not able to drink any of our own water by the pool, that was not bought from the hotel bar. Food: Food was very average, similar to hospital food. The menu was varied and quick to come but is clearly cooked by someone who cares little amounts about the taste of the food they are making. Staff: The staff were slow and one was particularly inappropriate with a young woman in our party, asking for her number and further wanting to meet later that night. The room: There was no air con provided- you had to pay £10 per day, the rooms temperature averaged 35 degrees. The third bed was in fact a sofa sat in the main living area with no privacy as surrounded by windows on a lower floor. The bathroom was dirty when we arrived, along with plates, bowls, kitchen utensils etc. We had to buy our own scrubbing brush and liquid. There was no towel to dry dishes so we had to use our shower towels. The kitchen is not functional enough to make meals: the hob took around 30-40 mins to heat up and the kettle was broken so making simple meals like boiling pasta was difficult. The outside area was nice and well maintained but no chairs were provided with the table. The outside light was also poorly working so being able to see at night was barely possible. There was a problem with the drains throughout the whole apartment, so this caused unpleasant smells and a leaking shower. There was a light in our bedroom, which we were not able to turn on/off due to being electrocuted Wi-Fi: There was no WiFi that reached our room and the staff were hesitant about giving the WiFi for the pool/reception area.

1st time visiting this hotel can not say anything bad about our visit room was very clean on arrival staff very helpful food and drink was all good too WiFi good on lobby balcony would return again in futher Barman OKAN made our stay very welcoming and made our holiday 1 to remember!!!

If you are looking for a place with drunk loudmouthed sunburnt Brits on cheap holiday then this place is for you. Add in crappy wifi, cigarette smelling rooms and average service it pretty much sums up this place. Only good thing about it was location and the pool

Skip it. Our room had weak A/C, ants everywhere, horrible shower, and a maxi pad in the window to block a hole. The WiFi (as listed) is not in rooms, but trying to connect in the public areas is near impossible.
