Nice, clean and quiet room. Well-equipped and functional bathroom. Friendly welcome, in short I do not understand the negative reviews, the presence of the commercial area is invisible by the vegetation and the room we occupied (10) did not suffer from any nuisance linked to the ring road. If we add the charm of the old stones, it is very good value for money. An added bonus would be a bigger bed.

Magnificent building but very outdated rooms, dilapidated bathroom and very stained carpets. Not to mention an epic reservation where we had to call back many times because we never had the person who managed the reservations on the phone but the maintenance person... in fact on the day of our arrival there was no still no one at reception... In short, given the prices displayed, the standard and professionalism expected are clearly not up to par.

An evening at the ***** restaurant to quickly forget. Read until the end for a good laugh! We arrive for a birthday at 7:30 p.m. (7 people). Our reservation doesn't exist (never cool) but the teams very kindly find us a table. There is a group and 2 tables with us. The chef is in a t-shirt and wanders around the room, chatting from side to side and serving wine. Weird. We take the most expensive menu, 5 courses to celebrate. 8:30 p.m., still nothing. Finally wine and a little bread! We wait for an hour and still nothing... weird. 9:30 p.m., 2 hours we wait. Our 2 little ones (6 and 8 years old) still haven't eaten anything. We push ourselves to at least take out the child's meal. Done, chicken nuggets finally arrive. As well as the appetizer for us. 2 hours and here we are with 1 accra of cod per person! 10 p.m.… a splash of tomato juice arrives. This is the entrance. Nothing special. We are fuming. 10:30 p.m., still nothing despite our multiple reminders. 10:50 p.m., the waiter (young and helpful at the time) arrives sheepishly to tell us that the chef is unfortunately “not able to serve us and thanks us for our visit”. He then begins his tour to announce the same thing to the 13 other people. Only the group present will be served this evening. OTHER CUSTOMERS ARE ASKED TO RETURN TO THE EXIT, WITHOUT HAVING EATED, HAVING WAITED 4 HOURS! Never seen. Earlier in the year, this same chef boasted in the columns of Le Petit Bleu that if he wanted to have a Michelin star, he had to “leave Agen”. Well boss, go, we won't keep you. And dare a touch of humility in your next media outings and a touch of courage to no longer send your employees to hell the next time you fail to fulfill your obligations. However, I wish you all the success in the world and I hope that one day you will win the long-awaited star. For this, a big rethinking will be necessary. Good luck

The estate is splendid from the outside but a most execrable welcome. The carpets in the stained rooms. The pool furniture deteriorated and not put in place. To each question you are answered no. It’s a shame because the natural setting is very green and the exterior of the castle has been renovated. Change the staff

Hotel ideally located a few minutes from the center of Agen and yet in an island of calm. Very beautiful castle, large swimming pool, very beautiful park, very friendly welcome, large air-conditioned bedroom, large bathroom, small downside; many stains on the carpet. Varied and copious breakfast in a very beautiful room, possibility of having lunch outside with a view of the swimming pool. Recommended without hesitation, for excellent value for money.

Arrival in front of a beautiful place located in an industrial area. Arrival at 5:30 p.m. no possibility of drinking, opening at 6:30 p.m. Full sun room, air conditioning turned off, musty smell, stains on the carpet. We took our luggage and left. Explanations given, it is the customers who make the stains.

Deplorable table and service.....Luckily we didn't invite friends there! Our table was reserved: We arrived on time, and we waited.....at least 5 minutes for someone to come to us. The cocktail arrived after a quarter of an hour of waiting and the ' entry in stride! They forgot to bring us the wine, the meat is rather stiff and the vegetables perhaps came out of a can. The weather was good, the terrace is quite pleasant, that's the only positive point!
