Hengxin Zangwang Hotel

This is a proper star-rated hotel. Although it's a bit old, it's not run-down, if you know what I mean. The bathrooms use reusable towels, not disposable ones. The parking lot has Huawei fast chargers. All around are fruit trees sprayed with pesticides, laden with plums – hopefully, they won't poison the kids! The breakfast is rich and delicious, and they even have authentic Su-style oil tea. The laundry room is large and convenient. At just over 200 yuan, the price-performance ratio is excellent. I recommend staying here, just be careful not to touch the fruit trees and get poisoned!

After booking online, I experienced discrimination; the rooms I was assigned were in old buildings with outdated facilities. For example, the first room I was assigned was near the end of the hallway, and the second room had cigarette burn holes on the sofa and carpet, and the mattress was sagging. The room also lacked heating and air conditioning, using only an electric heater. The third time, I was moved to a slightly better room, but it still lacked heating and air conditioning, and I was given an extra blanket.

I have no other complaints, except there are bloodstains on the sheets. The main issue is that I didn't see them before I went to bed, and only noticed them when I checked out, which is very disturbing.

Parking was convenient. Room facilities need improvement; the central air conditioning was very slow to heat up, making the room quite cold. Thankfully, the hotel provided an electric heater. The washbasin was too wide, the faucet was positioned too far back, and the faucet itself was short, making it easy for water to spill onto the countertop while washing, which was very inconvenient. Breakfast tasted good, but the serving time was inconsistent; sometimes it wasn't ready by the appointed time. I suggest improvements.

I randomly booked a hotel for the night, seeing a promotional price that was over 100 yuan cheaper, so I booked it. When I arrived at the hotel, I was surprised by how large and impressive it was. However, the guests were incredibly rude. We were backing up and parking when a greasy, elderly man with glasses drove his car right in front of us, even while we were unloading our luggage! Two large SUVs took up three parking spaces, while we, with our large cars, conscientiously parked in one! The front desk staff were chattering loudly during check-in. When I heard they were staying at a company-sponsored rate, I realized they were 7-8 grown men, all drunk (the driver was suspected of drunk driving, no wonder they wanted to hit us). It was disgusting; a stench hit me. I didn't even try to hide it, fanning myself to get rid of the smell and telling them to stay away. I wasn't going to tolerate that. The biggest experience of my trip to Tibet: smoking everywhere, even in the elevator! The people here are so rude; they don't even avoid children, lighting cigarettes in the elevator! ****!

The room was a bit old, but the location was convenient, so I was initially satisfied. However!!! Can you believe it? I was asleep in the middle of the night when someone swiped their wrist and opened the door! It was terrifying! I called the front desk, and they said they were checking rooms in the middle of the night and didn't know anyone had stayed in that room. Who would believe that? The hotel doesn't even have its own procedures straight! And what good hotel checks rooms in the middle of the night? The hotel staff just apologized and said they were worried about disturbing our rest, but they didn't even call us to apologize again. Good heavens, who could fall asleep immediately after something like that? We had to call to confirm ourselves. I suggest you don't come here; it's terrible!! 👎

The front desk staff were very helpful! They would remind each other to stand up when they saw guests from afar; they were very courteous. The breakfast dishes were delicious; you could tell the chef put a lot of care into them.

Great! The hotel is very large, and the rooms are quite spacious for the price. There's also a laundry room, and free coffee in the lobby—my favorite sweet coffee ☕️. I'm only reviewing now because I've left, so I don't have any photos.

Such a large hotel, the lobby... the elevator was so choking from the smoke it was impossible to breathe, it was truly unbelievable.
