BaraCoco Bungalows

We spent 12 nights at this beautiful and peaceful place with incredible view of Bara Beach and the colorful sea. The bungalows are very nice and comfortable. The beds are equipped with mosquito net and water pressure of the shower is very good. The outside area of the bungalow has 2 hammocks where it's nice to relax looking the ocean. Breakfast is complementary and there is a choice of pancake, toast and egg and fried rice as well as fresh pressed juice and a fruit platter. All fresh prepared as the restaurant dishes which are various and very delicious at a fair price. Wi-Fi works very well and covers all areas. But the very best part of Baracoco is the staff, so nice, kind, always smiling. Amazing is not enough to describe them. Thanks a lot guys to have made our stay so special! We loved our stay here and recommend it to everyone.

For us our stay was coming to heaven🤩. White sandy beach with an amazing view. Baracoco bungalows is a perfect stay for a couple of days. The bungalows are great, they are clean, comfortabel and cosy. The bathroom is al wat you need. You will not get great luxury, but you also will not pay that price. Then the staf. This is why you should go there 😉. Super friendly, always there to help. You can ask them almost anything 😊. They all have a smile on their face the entire day. ( Thanks Rir,Andy, Ricco and the rest) The food! We tried almost everything that was on the menu, and it all was very delicious. Thanks you Dewi and Annie. And off course we want to Thanks the owners Jan and Rahel, because we could stay 2 nights longer and the pleasant talks. For us it was a wonderful part of our Holliday.

These are beautiful bungalows right on the waterfront at Bara Beach just outside of the South Sulawesi town of Tanjung Bira. I had a marvellous bungalow complete with a relaxing balcony overlooking the Flores Sea. With a comfortable queen sized bed, fan, and spacious bathroom my room with a view was delightful. The staff and owners were wonderful hosts. They were friendly, helpful and professional. These are very well organised and managed bungalows. The staff are also amazing cooks. The regular menu is delicious but they can also make specials including chicken curry, gado gado (the best I had in Indonesia) and fresh new potatoes in parsley and garlic butter sauce. I mainly had the squid, or cumi cumi, which was tasty in Sambal sauce with rice. Breakfast was included in the tariff and was excellent, with a choice of toast and omelette, fried rice or pancakes. It would always be accompanied by freshly squeezed watermelon or papaya juice and a serving of those fruits and or fresh banana. This would be the perfect place for remote digital nomad type work if you want to stay for a month or two. However, Baracoco Bungalows induced such a state of extreme relaxation in me that I couldn't possibly find the motivation to work here, but still if you are drawn to Indonesia for remote working then this place would be ideal, it has excellent internet connectivity. The beach is beautiful. Powder soft white sand, turquoise blue waters which fade into cerulean blue beyond the reef. Swimming was possible at high tide and either side of high tide. It's only at very low tide that swimming inside the reef is impossible, and with calm conditions you could possibly go out beyond the reef. The water was warm and cool, without being too hot. For the first 10 days that I was here the weather was perfect with warm temperatures, cool sea breezes and brilliant sunshine. For the second lot of 10 days (I stayed here for three weeks) it alternated between sunny skies and rain, intense tropical downpours especially at night. It was still pleasant however. The only difference this makes is if you have a fine day I recommend going out to Pulau Liukang Loe (Liukang Loe Island) without delay, just off the beach, about a 20 minute boat ride away. Syahrir, Andi and Rico can help organise a snorkelling trip with a trusted and reliable boat captain also owns some small chalets on the island together with restaurant there. The snorkelling is very good off Liukang Loe, although it's mostly small colourful coral fish, very few large fish seem to be present. The island and its snorkelling are much better when the sun is out, so make the most of it when you're at Baracoco. There are some challenges at Bara beach. There are problems with plastic pollution and waste, which is very sad because it is such a beautiful place. The local people do what they can to keep it clean, but new waves of plastic debris wash up (and wash out) with each incoming and outg

Excellent place for nature lover , nice little bungalow from wood in the cliffs, looking over magnificent white Sandy bara beach . Stay here for 4 nights and have amazing stay. The staff are helpful and care for the guest , fresh food from the kitchen . The hotel can arrange everything incl island trip or transfer to airport . Highly recommend for people who like gateway from the crowded and close to nature .

Very beautiful view from this cottage. The room (include the bathroom) is very clean. We can enjoy our quality time with our family or friends very well. I will visit this place again with my family, soon. Thank you, Baracoco 🌴

My favorite bungalow in bara beach The rooms are comfortable and clean especially the view is extraordinary. Especially if you go to baracoco with friends or family it will be very fun.It has the best view. The coconut trees add a special touch to the view. Breakfast is also very good. Love the service and the clean toilet
