As an American expat living in the Philippines since 2009, I have found Boracay my favorite place to visit in the Philippines. I'm a cheap guy. I don't need a 5-star hotel. My wife and I have stayed at Jejsellends Garden Cottages four times in the past 13 years. We have already made reservations for June 2023 at a cost of only 2,000 pesos, 40 US dollars a night for four adults. We have had nothing but pleasant experiences at Jejsellends. It is a short walk to Station 2 Beach. It is always quiet, with a clean CR, Comfort Room, and good air con. The staff is always accommodating and friendly. Highly recommend it. Looking forward to our next visit in June.

This is a warning for those considering this resort... it may be cheap but dont exchange your piece of mind and safety when choosing this resort. I've had an existing complaint with Dept of Tourism Region 6 about the improprieties I experience with the resort's owner. The room was basic, no ref, no water heater, noisy aircon and blunt room features. There were better budget resorts nearby you can choose from. So BEWARE.

Never ever be deceived by the pictures of their resort. Beware of the owner who dont know anything on the hospitality business. My complaint even reached Depar**ent of Tourism Region 6 which cause them to be given stern warning. Again, if you want to have peace of mind, stay away from this cheap resort.
