Radisson Hotel Bordeaux Saint Jean

The hotel is quite near Gare de Bordeaux St Jean, about 10 minutes’ light walking distance away. The hotel is neat and tidy. It provides free apples upon check-in. There’s a mix-up about breakfast, which I was almost charged for upon check-out when the staff at check-in mentioned all was already included in my booking (city tax and breakfast). She even mentioned dinner was included. Thankfully, I checked again with her, and she mentioned I could check them out and pay upon check-out. Duh. However, in the end, the breakfast fees were waived off, thankfully. There’s a water dispenser near the lift where we could top up water. There’s a fridge and safe deposit box, as well as coffee and tea sachets available in the room. The lighting was not that bright in the room, but since it’s already May, the sunset happens after 9 p.m. anyway, so it’s not a big issue. I think they purposely made the room a bit darker as well for ambiance, maybe.

Really good room. Very friendly and English speaking staff. Really helpful. Room and bathroom were vey clean and comfortable. 4 min walk away from Tram station and right next to a bus stop, 10 mins away from St Jean station

The location is a 10-15 min walk away from the train station due to the layout of the train tracks, however it is also served frequently by tram C. Upside is its in a good, quiet and clean neighbourhood away from the hustle and bustle. Very modern, clean and chic hotel. Comfortable sized rooms and toilet. Reception served by delightful and polite ladies.

Location perfect, staff will go out of their way to make your stay memorable, Simon at the bar is a nice guy to meet, Infact I felt at home at this property.

A beautiful  modern hotel，very clean and good air conditioning ， spacious and comfortable bed， walking distance to main train station and  restaurants ， 30 minutes walk to downtown

Spacious room with good access to local transport. It would be better if the hotel didn't use disposable cups for environmental reasons. I think the hotel staff requires a bit more training. The hotel price is low for a 4 stars because it is not located in a tourist destination.
