This hotel is situated in a beautiful area, the mountains are breath-taking and it's a lovely walk to the old town From what I could see the hotel is kept very clean, although I was very surprised to see carpet on the floor of our room, I haven't seen that in a holiday hotel for years!! The pool is cleaned every night and the walkways all washed down. Our cleaning lady was efficient and helpful when I requested scissors to cut some tags off a new top. The food was okay, not outstanding but we always found something reasonably tasty to eat but I couldn't get a hot omlette for love nor money! For some reason all the tables for 4 are only ever set with cutlery and napkins for 2 so we had to always take the extra we needed from another table as we were a party of 4. Can't understand the logic behind that! There are no tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms which for an early riser is really inconvenient if you have to wait until breakfast. Maybe place a machine like the ones in the restaurants on the receptions for early morning refreshments??? Soft drinks could be improved upon greatly. Sour cherry from each bar looked and tasted different and very often the coke (and beer) were quite flat. The gym does not open until 9am, again inconvenient for an early riser who likes to exercise before breakfast. Again I think this could be solved by maybe issuing fobs on request to anyone who wants them so that only those who request one can access the gym before 9am
