Plataran Hotels in Borobudur

The hotel isn't far from Borobudur, but you'll still need a taxi to get there. The hotel shuttle runs infrequently, but luckily Grab taxis are convenient and inexpensive. The breakfast was decent with a good variety of options. There's also a restaurant for lunch, offering a fusion of Indonesian and Western cuisine. The hotel even has an amusement park and a zoo, though we didn't visit the zoo due to rain. There's also a small exhibition hall, which seemed to display items related to Buddhist culture. On the fifth floor, there's a bar that also serves food, and their cocktails were pretty good.

Breakfast a la carte is very very nice, fresh fruit is also great The room is made up twice, very friendly staffs The location is amazing as you can see Borobudur from the Patio restaurant (where you will have breakfast) Amenity is truly lacking: no gym of its own, instead need to go to its sister hotel : Plataran Heritage, the shared gym is a dusty small room with one treadmill, one workout dumbbell set The spa also looks quiet old, we ended up going to another hotel for spa
