Lovely place to stay, staff really friendly, polite and nothing is to much trouble, menu and food was excellent, 4 hour drive home and insisted that we took saus, bacon and egg rolls with us for the journey, cant wait to stay there again.

Had an amazing stay with the other half! Grantham arms had a very cozy feeling and the staff were very friendly, would definitely return for another visit!

Good country pub accommodation.
Room was very clean and comfortable.
I didn't eat there but local friends tell me the food is good (as pub food goes)

We booked slightly conerned that there might be disturbing noise from the busy road..but absolutely delighted with how quiet the Grantham Arms is! Both from inside and out! Staff welcomed us warmly and we were soon settled into our clean, well appointed, comfortable room for a four night stay. All our meals were a delight, the menu varied, catering for my dietry requirements perfectly. Even better, coeliac was properly understood and Joe even provided extra GF breakfast cereal for me! Friends who enjoy dining out where good food is available came to join us from Wetherby for one lunch, were equally impressed. The whole short break was excellent and we shall, all being well, look forward to staying again.

5/5, we called in on Friday 8th March and couldn't have been happier with our choice. Lovely setting with the friendliest, most helpful staff and amazing food. Really nothing bad to say at all. Everything was just perfect and we will definitely be back. Thank you.

The Grantham arms itself was lovely. We had a problem with ladybirds in our room. We were quickly moved to a beautiful room. Nothing was too much trouble. Staff were lovely and friendly and food was fabulous. Great choice of food and drink...

This was our third visit, breaking a journey south. The beer, food, cleanliness and levels of staff service are exceptionally high. Our journey and stay were prolonged due to an accident. The staff did everything the could to help, squeezing my wife in for dinner when the restaurant was full of valentine's bookings while chef provided a late exotic sandwich and a dessert after close of service when I arrived back late after treatment. I'm sure we'll be back.

Very warm welcome, with a decent coffee machine in the bedroom, nice hot shower and comfortable bed. A very pleasant stay.
