The hotel is relatively old, and each floor is like a labyrinth. It takes a long time to get to your room, but the room is very clean and large. There is a bathroom, hot water, etc. are also ok.

Room clean, staff very pleasant, however food is poor bought in and not fresh, menu lacks imagination and is exactly the same as this groups other establishments, plus it is way overpriced for this. Drink prices were ok. The room had strong smell from bathroom, other than that room was ok.

Only stayed one night but enjoyed the whole experience. The Hotel was clean and our room was beautifully presented on arrival. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend to my friends and family.

We have just returned from a fantastic stay at The White Hart, (23rd/24th May). We were in a Superior Double which was fabulous with a huge bathroom and a very comfortable bed. The room was extremely clean with lots of extras such as bottled water, quality toiletries, biscuits, good coffee etc. Dining was exceptional, beautiful food (I can recommend the slow cooked Shepherds Pie) and at a very reasonable price. Breakfast was cooked to order which we enjoyed as it was all hot and with lots of menu options. There was also a continental buffet, which you could help yourself to, which again had lots of choice. A 'big shout out' has to go to the staff as they were all very friendly and welcoming. The young man who served us both for breakfast and dinner was excellent and he clearly enjoyed his job. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional and deserves a pay rise - I just wish I knew his name! Thanks to everyone for an amazing stay, you really made my birthday special and we will return for sure.

Staff were friendly, accommodating and helpful at all times despite their roles being challenging at times. Loved relaxing on the external seating area in the sun. Fantastic! Parking is tricky to find though.

Terrible nights sleep due to bar/night club music on till 1-2am, then lots of shouting from people outside. We were staying in rm105, which looked out at the back of the hotel which was very close to bar called Meet and Meat, how they get away with the level of noise polution is anyones guess, both the rooms at the hotel and the nightclub itself could benefit very much with some good quality sound proofing. Hotel staff and the room facilties were top notch but the whole point in staying away is to be able to have a good night's rest, unfortunately The White Hart did not deliver on this and ruined what could have been a perfect weekend.
