Sheraton Boston Hotel

I really like this hotel; it's quiet, elegant, and practical. The front desk service was excellent, and check-in was a breeze. Check-out was also simple. Getting around was very convenient. Shopping was super easy, as it's directly connected to the mall.

A terrible stay. The hotel has a strict check-in policy at 4 PM and check-out at 11 AM. We had to call to check in. The person on the phone asked for a credit card, but no one at check-in requested it. Once in the room, I found the Wi-Fi wasn't working. I called the hotline, and they said it was because I hadn't swiped my card and I needed to go downstairs. Downstairs, they then said I could just call. The service was extremely cold and dismissive. Most importantly, it was incredibly noisy all night, making it impossible to sleep. It was loud enough to wake the dead. Besides the good location, there's absolutely no reason to stay here.

I stayed at this hotel during my trip to Boston and overall, I was very satisfied. The best thing about it was definitely its location. Situated in the heart of Back Bay and directly connected to the Prudential Center, I had no trouble finding shopping or dining options. It was also easy to access places like Newbury Street, making it an incredibly convenient base for sightseeing in Boston. The hotel itself is spacious, with an open and clean lobby. My room was well-maintained, and the bed was comfortable, allowing me to relax after a long day of walking. The views of Boston from the large window were also quite impressive. The staff were friendly, and my check-in and check-out process went smoothly without any issues. Furthermore, the hotel offers amenities like a pool and gym, which would make it comfortable for longer stays. There are also many restaurants and cafes nearby, so I appreciated having the flexibility to choose dining options based on my mood, both inside and outside the hotel. While hotels in Boston generally tend to be expensive, considering its excellent location, cleanliness, facilities, and convenient access, I found this hotel to be very practical. I would especially recommend it to first-time visitors to Boston or anyone looking to enjoy sightseeing and shopping. I would definitely consider staying here again if I have the chance to visit Boston in the future.

I arrived at the hotel after 11 PM. I had specifically requested a room with a good view when I made the reservation, but the next morning, when I opened the curtains, all I saw was a wall. I was too lazy to change rooms, so I just made do for a few nights. One morning, there was a loud drilling noise at 9 AM that lasted on and off for about an hour. I contacted the front desk, and they just said they'd check on it, but the noise didn't stop, and I never received any follow-up. The room was also very small. On the positive side, the location is excellent; it's convenient to go anywhere and it's connected to a large shopping mall, which is great for shopping and dining. Overall, it's okay, but the front desk service could use improvement.

So-so, no slippers provided. The shower water pressure was very low. Everything else was just okay.

The location is incredibly convenient. They offer paid valet parking, which is quite expensive at $72 a day, but it's super easy to get to Berkeley or catch the Green Line from here. The hotel also has direct access to a large shopping mall on the second floor, and the hotel environment itself is quite nice.

The hotel's second floor directly connects to the mall, making dining and going out super convenient. It's also linked to one of the subway lines, so you don't even have to go outside. The location is excellent, right next to Newbury. The hotel rooms are quite large, and there are many rooms on each floor, which unfortunately meant housekeeping was slow. I stayed for two days, leaving in the morning and returning at night, only to find the room still hadn't been cleaned. The bathroom towels were of average quality, and the bathroom itself was a bit small, with a shower over the tub.
