Had high hopes for the Copley Square Hotel. Unfortunately, it fell short in a lot of manners. I stayed at the hotel pre-pandemic and enjoyed it. Since then, the lobby has been refurbished and no longer has that boutique feeling. Not a big deal, but it had a very different vibe. Also, the halls we dark and dirty, and the room smelled musty. There was also no coffee or tea available in the room, and the TV did not work (the message said cable/antenna not connected). On a positive side, the bed was very comfy. That said, we will not likely return.

Perfectly located in my favourite part of Boston in Back Bay, only 5 min walk from museums, shops, nice restaurants and live music. Spacious clean rooms, friendly service, historical design but made modern. Loved it and will definitely return here when in Boston!

Is an old hotel with full of character. Lift is a mixed of modern and old. It is well situated, across the road is a huge supermarket. Amtrak train station is just 5 mins walk away. Room is a little small and the Aircon cannot be controlled. Shower water pressure is good.
Best thing I like is a big kitchen with microwave and coffee machine. Even a 5 star hotel do not have this.
Checked in and out is super easy. Overall I like this hotel.

I booked this hotel through Trip.com for a double double bed room, and I got a single double bed, which I had to share with my teenage son. They didn’t give me what I booked and when I called the front desk they said that I used a third-party so there’s nothing I could do about it. Trip.com accommodated me with extra trip coins for the trouble, but it was horrible and on top of it the bed was so hard and uncomfortable. The window in my room was broken and taped up. It was a musty smell in the room, not good ventilation because the room was so small. This large vent was right on top of the bed blowing either hot or cold air so I just turned it off. The floor was not level so you felt off. I would never go back to this hotel again. If you happen to go to this hotel, don’t book it through a third-party, which their rates on their website are ridiculous for this old dilapidated hotel.
