This hotel is really good value for the price. It's easy to find and close to the South Station. The area feels safe, it's clean, and the staff are helpful and responsive to issues. Overall, I recommend it.

Used this hotel as my base for Scotland's time in Boston for the World Cup. Location was ideal (near South Station but also walkable for most of the things I wanted to see in the city), check in was seamless and the rooms - while small - are well kitted out and very clean. Staff were nice and helpful too. Would definitely recommend.

The hotel is clean and in a great location. Unfortunately the rooms are far too small. I understand that there is a Japanese compact theme going on for the rooms but it would be useful to potential guests for this to be clearly spelt out in the booking information. There is no room for two suitcases and very limited space to put clothing. The bed becomes the settee and vice versa. When the bed is down it is very cramped and difficult to navigate around it because the suitcases are on the floor. The US is known for big rooms, big beds, and big servings of food. You would not expect to find such small rooms in a U.S. hotel.

The location of the hotel is good. Very close to public transportation and just a step away from supermarket. However the wifi in the hotel is absolutely ****! You either couldn’t connect to it or there’s no internet connection even when you connected to the network. Thinking of using cellular data? There’s no chance you’ll get any signal. Basically we’re living without any internet once we’re in the room. Also the room is small, there’s barely space to put all our luggages.
Response from Property: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We appreciate your comments regarding our location in Seaport and are glad to hear the nearby public transportation and supermarket added convenience to your stay.We also understand your concerns regarding the WiFi connection and room size. Our rooms are designed to be compact and efficient, though we understand that this style may not be the right fit for every traveler. Feedback like yours is very helpful as we continue to review the guest experience, and your comments regarding connectivity will be shared with the appropriate team for follow up.Warm Regards,YOTEL Boston Team

YOTEL is honestly a pretty cool place if you’re into modern, no-frills stays. The rooms are small, but they’re designed really smartly, so it doesn’t feel too cramped. I liked the adjustable bed and the overall vibe—it feels kind of futuristic. The self-check-in is quick, though it can feel a bit impersonal. It’s in a great location, which makes getting around easy. That said, it’s probably not the best if you want lots of space or a super cozy feel. Overall, it’s a solid choice for a short, convenient stay.
Response from Property: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are so glad to hear you enjoyed the modern design, smart room layout, and convenient location in Seaport. It is wonderful to know the adjustable bed and overall atmosphere helped make your stay a positive one.We also appreciate your thoughtful comments regarding the self check in experience and room size. Our rooms are designed to be compact and efficient, though we understand that this style may not be the right fit for every traveler. We truly appreciate your support and hope to welcome you back to YOTEL Boston again soon!Warm Regards,YOTEL Boston Team

The hotel is terrible. Because they asked me around $435 as deposit and promised money back to my credit card within 3-5 working day. Now 10days past and naver money back. Why why ???
Response from Property: Thank you for staying with us and for sharing your feedback. We are sorry for the concern this has caused. The amount referenced is a standard incidental authorization, not a charge, and it is released after check out. Depending on your bank, it can take longer than 3 to 5 business days for the release to reflect back on your account. If the authorization is still showing after 10 days, it typically means the bank has not finalized the release on their end. Please contact your card issuer to confirm the status of the pending authorization.Warm Regards,YOTEL Boston Team

Great location in Seaport, within walking distance of major attractions and public transport. Rooms are clean and well designed, and the rooftop bar is nice. There’s a decent hotel gym and a Trader Joe’s nearby. Staff are friendly and offer free luggage storage

It’s also great to hear you appreciated the gym, nearby conveniences, and our friendly team. We hope to welcome you back again soon.Warm Regards,YOTEL Boston Team

The hotel charges a $300 security deposit and an automatic 18% gratuity on any food/drink purchased. A bowl of oatmeal and coffee was $23. There is no breakfast buffet available. The rooms are tiny and designed very much like a cruise ship cabin, complete with bunk beds! There are no closets, drawers or counter space in the room and only 6 hangers (to hang clothes where?) I had to use the ironing board for toiletries. The bathroom is separated from the bedroom only by a curtain. (I wonder how couples feel about each other after staying there?) The only window is a floor-to-ceiling window in the bathroom so you can flash nearby shoppers as you step out of the shower. The heated towel rack in not within arm's reach of the shower and featured hard and frayed towels. The room featured a large TV that was surrounded by LED lights. No obvious switch turned off said LEDs, but apparently the round rainbow-colored emblem in one of the built-in cubby holes turned it off.
On the plus side, the hotel is a half-mile from the Boston Convention Center. Also, travelers can take the Silver Line bus from Logan Airport to South Station (or one stop short of the station to this hotel) for FREE! The one-way trip back to Logan Airport is $2.40. There is a rooftop bar that features a nice city view.
