My husband and I spent a few days here after staying on The ***** during a recent trip to LV. This property is billed as a resort, and in most ways, it is. However, in a few ways, it is clear that this beautiful getaway is still recovering from the effects of the 2020+ downturn...there isn't enough traffic to this area to warrant fully staffing this space. Still, every encounter we had with staff members was exceptional and helpful. For example, if you are okay with walking across the pool area to place your food and drink orders (instead of a staff member coming around and waiting on you), you will enjoy this property. The food at the Lagoon Pool Bar & Grill was delicious and fresh! The drinks were well-made and ice-cold...just what you want when lounging by the pool! Our room was spacious, with comfortable furnishings. We enjoyed sitting on our balcony looking over the courtyard, the gorgeous natural landscape outside the property, and Lake Las Vegas Village next door. There are plenty of restaurants in The Village to satisfy every craving, and a walk on one of the lakeside trails or across the bridge is enough to burn off those calories! My only real complaint about this property is that it could benefit from a lobby fragrance system...there is a sulfur smell in the lobby and ground floor (on the way to the pool) that lingers and is off-putting when entering such a beautiful space. It's not a great first impression for such an impressive property.
