We stayed here on our drive back to the east coast. It’s an old timey motel built in the 1930’s I believe. We got a basic room with a king size bed which is remarkably comfortable. They have WIFI, TV, a microwave, and there’s a bath tub! What more do you need? Erica, in the office, is great. I’d stay here again. No question.

Great old style route 66 motel. Comfortable accommodation at a low price. A decent pool. Air-conditioned. Next door to a diner and close to amenities. Close to las Vegas. Hoover dam, the Nevada state line and Clarke County

Was a very busy weekend and our reservations got mixed up. They were very helpful and made it right. We had a good room and nice beds. Easy walking to the old town area (restaurants, antique stores, general shopping). Parking lot is large and can accommodate people boating on the lake.

I was very misled by the good reviews I read about this place, that extolled the 1950s ambiance. It’s simply an old motel that’s across from a bar that blasts loud music all night. Remote to tv didn’t work either. Sank too far in to memory foam bed. Towels very scratchy. Place was clean but that’s the only thing good I can say about it.

The cool neon El Rancho Motel sign out front alone makes this motel. Awesome sign, especially when lit up after dark. This cool 1950s era motel has the feel of that bygone era of road travel in every way. The architecture, the pool, the sign, the front office, all scream classic 1950s in the Nevada desert! Don't let that scare you away though, as the motel rooms are modern and updated. They are spacious, clean and feature a flat screen TV, microwave, refrigerator, and if I'm not mistaken, Wi-Fi. Everything you need on a road trip. Everything inside and outside is well kept and maintained. The air conditioner blew such cold air my wife insisted I turn it off during the night (I secretly turned it back on after she fell asleep). The pool out front was very large and inviting. It was quite refreshing on such a hot day in southern Nevada. The motel is very convenient to fast food joints and other restaurants in Boulder City and is no more than 15 minutes from Hoover Dam. In fact, we stayed here for the final night on our 2023 vacation after visiting Hoover Dam. A great way to end our trip before flying out of Las Vegas the next day. Oh, and did I mention the awesome motel sign out front?

I stayed at the El Rancho Boulder Hotel at various times from Sept - 2022 to March - 23. Can't imagine staying any where else while in southern Nv. The room was very comfortable and the staff were very helpful. And that cup of coffee at 7:15 every morning really hit the spot.

We stayed at El Rancho the night of 3/4/23.We checked in at around 3pm.We noticed there was a portable electric heater,we were never told the room had no heat.By 11:00 pm the room was way to cold to stay in,the plug in heater was weak, so we had to leave.The office was closed.I called the next morning and spoke to Fantasia who also checked us in.I told her I had left the key on the microwave and she said she would contact Candi the manager to see about getting us a credit.Fantasia called me back and said Candi would give us 15% off our next visit.Since I already get 10% off for being an AARP member the discount for a future stay amounts to about 6 or 7 dollars for a room that should not even be rented.This property also needs a major updating the furniture is old and the carpets are soiled.We would not stay here again.

El Rancho was very clean and comfortable. I can tell that it is run by people with pride. The shower heads are high enough for tall people, which is not always the case in old motels. The bedrooms, bathrooms, and closets are spacious. Some of their deluxe rooms are more like a 1-bedroom apartment than a motel room, and have an attached kitchen and dining area with neat vintage built-in cabinets, sinks, and ovens. You'll love everything about El Rancho if you like vintage stuff. *********** messed up my original reservation, but El Rancho compensated me more than fairly for something that wasn't their fault. I stayed there with about ten friends in a classic car club. It was my suggestion that we stay at El Rancho rather than at another hotel, and I think we were all happy with our choice. I definitely plan to return.
