I’ve stayed here before and it’s been fine but on this most recent visit I was placed in a very strange room that seems to have been an add-on built after the rest of the hotel rooms. It was probably previously an employee only area.
The door was a standard residential door without a peephole. There were no facility maps or emergency egress instructions.
The floor was linoleum. Not even a throw rug. Full sized bed. No closet. Not even a space to hang clothes. No telephone. No alarm clock.
The bathroom was fairly nice. Until I went to use the towels: they had blood stains on them. There was also no toilet paper in the bathroom at all.
Did I mention mine was one of maybe 3 or 4 cars in the parking lot? Nearly the entire hotel was empty and they stuffed me in a filthy closet!

The property is in the middle of no where and anything around there is closed. But the owners were very nice and friendly. The price was cheaper than other hotels. I would recommend Eastern Inn if your looking for a quick stay

Staff needs re-training on cleaning.
I hardly got sleep, people loitering in halls.
People used the back & side for adult entertainment, condoms left on steps, trash, chicken wings on the floor. Babies left unattended to run up and down the halls. The air quality was horrible in the room, musty smell. I checked ac filter, filthy.

Nothing we enjoyed or liked !!! the 3/4 different kinds of bugs in the room, we showed to front desk!!! Staff wasn’t around and was told management would call next day and No call !! Cigarette holes in blankets and stains on pillow cases no blow dryer definitely not a pleasant stay I would have spent an xtra few dollars and booked somewhere else if I would have known!!!

You were doing people a disservice by having this on **********. It is extremely run down hardly any paint on decks or woodwork. Everything was shipped. There was bathroom towel, racks and rods on the deck… It was a disgrace. I tried to get out of it, but they refused, which made it all the more frustrating.

The room had been remodeled and was clean and comfortable, although in the large room there was no desk or chair in addition to the bed. The exterior of the building was rough and needs spiffing up. I forgot to ask about steps (I have spinal stenosis) and there was no way to get to my first floor room without 8 steps and awkward handrails. No amenities or lobby, but it's a 2-star so you can't expect that.
