Hotels near Brookside Golf Club in Bourne

The hotel was clean, staff was very friendly, our room was (surprisingly) ready quite early and they allowed us to check in hours before (this was a nice treat). The location is great - minutes from the Bourne bridge, plenty of entertainment and restaurants nearby, easy to travel to and from (esp off season). Convenience stores and the like are right nearby. It's quiet and being right along the canal and walkway was SO lovely!!! They have a nice fire pit outside - we enjoyed that. The pool is nice. Small. Much smaller than it appears online. No reflection on the hotel/staff at all, but if it's busy in there, it can be LOUD. There are not enough seats for everyone if it's busy so just keep that in mind. We had a water view room with two queen beds - go for the water view, it's lovely and you can see the Bourne bridge from your room (well, we could) as well as the walkway along the canal. It was just lovely, really. We're looking forward to visiting again. We're pretty local so visiting was for something ”different” on a weekend and a bday celebration. Definitely a nice diversion from the status quo on a busy weekend.

The surrounding environment is comfortable, very close to the seaside, the camper van is fully equipped, there are many stars at night, and there are sufficient heating supplies. It is very suitable for families and friends to travel together!

What a fabulous hotel! This is the first time l've ever stayed in a hotel room that provided me w/a fridge AND a microwave oven, along w/a coffee maker! I was pleasantly & happily surprised. This hotel is very clean & hospitable. The room that l stayed in had a desk area for doing computer work & a large screen television, w/two Qeen size confortable beds. The lobby of the hotel also provides the hotel guests w/FREE computer internet service & usage. And they offer free full buffet breakfasts EVERY morning, scrambled eggs, two types of meat sausages, choice of bagels, English muffins, toast, a waffle maker to make your own waffles, apple juice, orange juice, water, milk, fruits-bananas & sorted fruits, cold & hot cereals, teas, coffees, butter, jellies, ALL as much as you can eat. This is a fabulous hotel to stay in. Unfortunately, the group w/whom l taveled was on a trip w/strict time schedule to do various sight seeing tours over the weekend, so l did not get to view the swimming pool or the excercise room or to utilize either of these two offered hotel ammenities, so l can't comment in these places. One other great thing about staying at this hotel, is that the main mall/shopping center is w/in a stone's throw/5 minute walking distance from this hotel. Should l visit Cape Cod, MA again, l will opt to stay at this hotel again.

Sandy Neck motel wonderfully situated about a mile from Sandy Neck Beach with its long long strands stretching as far as the eye can see. On windy days the waves are crashing and wild, so emblematic of the Cape’s nautical history. It’s surrounded by a reputable conservation area that’s well maintained. Sandy Neck Motel is conveniently located and easy to access, spotlessly clean and newly renovated complete with mini split A/C ( and heat) units. Owned by Tracy and Carol who are very welcoming and friendly, giving it a home-away from home feeling. I have stayed here several times and keep coming back. Open year round - the Cape is marvelous to visit in the quieter seasons - the off season being my favourite time. Highly recommend this motel

We called when we booked and were told that the pool was open. This was important as it was a bit of a staycation and our 4 year-old son was excited to swim in the pool. When we arrived, it was not open, and it did not even appear to be actively under cleaning or repair. Also note: the pool area looks nothing like the photos. On our day to leave, the maid tried to get in 5 minutes before 11AM (the very early check-out time). Then, as we were leaving, 10 minutes later, the front desk called, presumably to tell us to get out. The hotel was not at all busy and this, combined with the pool experience (or lack thereof), left a bad taste in our mouth. We come to the area often and will not return. Also note: we were told that they were going to start charging an Amenity Fee - two days after we were departing. I have no clue what this fee could possibly cover, as they don't have a gym, and the pool does not even have furniture, so buyer beware.
