This was awful. We booked a double room, which was clearly described as a room with a double bed, however we found 2 single beds with 2 sets of single bedding. The hotel had no additional rooms they could move us to, and did not even provide one double duvet so we could attempt to sleep together. They said the beds could be pushed together, however, the beds were on wheels and moved apart as soon as they were pushed together

Make sure you get a refurbished room. But not really sure if there are any. Rooms very tired. Staff food and location good.

Lovely hotel with very nice polite friendly staff. Rooms were spotless and food was very good too. Liked that breakfast was served at the table with a great choice. Would recommend.

The Hotel Collingwood is in a convenient location, close to the town centre in Bournemouth and just a few minutes walk from a wonderful sandy beach. All the staff at the hotel were lovely and only too pleased to look after our every need. We had a very nice meal one evening in the restaurant and had a delicious cooked breakfast the next morning. The only thing I found disappointing was that the bed was quite hard for me, but some people prefer firm mattresses. Although we stayed in what was termed a "cosy room", there was plenty of space with a wall mounted television and cupboard to hang clothes in. Both ensuite bathroom and bedroom were very clean. Overall a good place to stay in Bournemouth.

I would highly recommend this hotel. The room was very pleasant, comfortable and clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly, nothing was to much trouble. The hotel seems to have been refurbished tastefully and has a nice atmosphere. Breakfast was very good. I will definitely book again soon.

Room was smaller than expected, but OK for 2 nights. Convenient situation, just a few mins walk to the sea-front, but remember it's uphill on the way back! When booking through Travelzoo, we were given tickets to nearby Russell-Cotes Museum, which is so interesting and well worth a visit. Car park was charged at £12.50/ night. We then found out that if booking directly with hotel, car park fee was free, so definitely book directly!

The food was delicious dinner & breakfast was extremely good & cleanliness of the hotel was superb, very enjoyable weekend, Such a great location and to make it even better the sun was shining. We will definitely come back for another visit in the future.

Just perfect! This place have just got it spot on. We had a newly refurbished cosy double room which was very comfortable and tastefully decorated. The food we had was exceptional we were very spoilt and the tea for 2 in the Bubbly Lounge was wonderful. All of the staff were very friendly and professional and couldn't do enough for you we left feeling very happy. Everyone is so lovely and helpful and wants you to have a great stay. Thank you to the Collingwood team - I will definitely be returning.

Excellent Stayed here for 3 nights and as always this Hotel never disappoints. Everything about the Collingwood is amazing. The newly refurbished rooms are very modern and clean with all amenities, the bar and restaurant are both buzzing and busy and the swimming pool is just what makes this Hotel. Big shout out to the Manager lady (sorry didn’t catch her name), great service and attention to detail and her team Lola, Slavena and Maia. From the moment we arrived, we have just been blown away by the Hospitability shown by all the staff. The food was excellent, staff couldn’t do more and rooms were really beautiful. We will be back soon. Thank you team Collingwood.
