The hotel lobby is beautiful, the food in the restaurant is good, the breakfast is rich, the waiters are very friendly and the service attitude is good, the hotel is very close to the beach, the environment is beautiful, the water is clear and the sand is fine! Highly recommended

This hotel is centrally located and has parking available. It is however very expensive, especially as the decor is shabby and the overall quality is fairly average. The shower dribbled out and four of us couldn't sit together either day at breakfast.

Firstly, All the staff are welcoming,professional, attentive. Everyone we came in to contact with smiled and were very helpful. The room was clean, bed comfy,lovely pillows ,large bath towels. Nice to have bottled water. The food is absolutely amazing,so delicious, the chicken forestiere we had was superb with mushrooms,chestnuts and a fabulous madeira sauce . Gluten free foods were available and things were tweaked to make it gluten free, served gluten free mini toast with mackerel rillette instead of mini melba toast. Loved the giant cous cous too. Breakfast was good all cooked nicely,staff very pleasant,smiley,assisted with gluten free foods. Spa treatments were so relaxing and refreshing,therapists do a wonderful job. pool warm, jacuzzi absolute bliss. We love coming here,this was our 2nd visit on the gin spa break but so many more to try so we will be back. The ambience of the hotel is relaxing,the location is excellent but its the staff that make our stay most enjoyable. Thank you.

Fantastic menu, great service, staff clearly enjoy their job and take pride in their delivery of service. Spa was an added bonus. Gym was needed as food was plentiful.

We had to change rooms as we had no heat. The phone number given is never answered. No shampoo or shower gel/soap the entire stay despite repeated requests daily to have this filled. The Wifi doesn't work at all. The food was lovely, the facilities outside this room were nice. Pool, hot tub, spa and gym were all good. You only get free parking if you book directly with the hotel. great location, short walk to the beach, great restaurants within walking distance.

Nice hotel and great Location Not worth the money though and wouldn’t recommend unless they have an offer on / room ok, bit tired but ok for a night out / breakfast very good / excellent bar and service. Nice spa area with pool and sauna / hot tub Staff great : very helpful Great night access Good cleaners and house keeping staff Parking good Walking distance of beach and town

Very friendly welcome. Our double room with balcony was very comfortable and clean. Shower very good. Good choice of hot and cold foods at breakfast. We had one evening meal which was excellent but a little pricey. Free parking on site if booked direct with hotel or Best Western. A short walk to the sea front.

Fantastic hotel, great service and incredible food, the room was extremely comfortable and would definitely stay again. The staff go above and beyond and are so friendly, nothing is too much. The room was huge and the bed was super comfy with lovely pillows, Thank you 😊

We got married at the Connaught, and our experience was nothing less than incredible! When we got started, Maria gave us the tour and talked us through how the day would look, what we wanted, and the wedding packages available as well as all the things we needed to know. She got us in touch with the restaurant to plan a complimentary menu tasting, arranged catchup meetings and was available whenever we needed to get in touch with queries or changes. On the day, Maria and her team of excellent, polite and friendly staff were outstanding; when I arrived with my best man Maria made sure I knew all the timings and was on hand to collect me to sync up my phone for the music, meet the registrars, and tell me where everything would be, and the day ran like clockwork. Not a single hitch or setback at all. The food was outstanding, the guests were very happy and satisfied, and it all went so smoothly. Nobody had a bad thing to say and the outdoor courtyard is a beautiful place for an outdoor wedding and drinks reception. If you want to get married at a hotel in Bournemouth, then Maria and her events team are nothing short of legends, working as a well oiled machine to deliver a perfect day! We took the option to upgrade to a suite for our wedding night and we were so satisfied with everything, down to the finishing touches of heart shaped petals and towels folded into swans in the shape of a heart on the bed. We are very much looking at a stay there for our anniversary already!
