Park Central Hotel

We stayed here on a Travelzoo deal. The hotel was spotless, the staff very friendly and helpful, offering lots of advice about the hotel and where to go in Bournemouth. The room on Floor 5 was lovely, despite being in the eves. Bed area was large with view towards the sea, velux window above the bed and another window where there were 2 comfy chairs and a table. Wardrobe had a SDBox, iron and 2 bathrobes. 2 full sets of all toiletries. Shower room would be a bit tight for a very large person, but so clean. Car park is reserved in their area at the multi-storey carpark opposite attached to the BIS Music/events complex. £14 for 24 hours and can go in and out during that time. Just give Reception your ticket when arrive and they deal with it. We ate at the Crab Restaurant (part of the hotel) in the evening and the service and food was lovely. We had the 3 course meal included in the deal with choice, but the a la carte looked amazing too. Breakfast was excellent, fresh fruit salad and usual for Continental breakfast and/or cooked breakfast, which were massive. The coffee was also very good despite helping yourself. An excellent hotel, just by the front and pier. Also very handy if going to the BIS for a show. Will definitely recommend to friends and if return to Bournemouth, it will be our choice of hotel.

We got an amazing deal for a room and then were upgraded to a lovely suite with a sea view. Everything was comfortable and clean. The staff were all friendly and helpful and the breakfast was great. Great location close to the beach and the pier.

This is our second stay at The Park Central, Bournemouth. Reception staff are a delight to deal with, nothing is too much trouble. Our signature room with sea view was an amazing size which we very much enjoyed. We chose Dinner, Bed and Breakfast as our group were all over 75 years old. Very easy yo cross the road to the beach for great level walks along the promenade or just a coffee or ice cream. Plenty of parking in the BIC. On a bus route to many lovely places. We all had a great time.

For the price it’s acceptable but looking tired in places.

We had a fantastic two nights stay at this hotel. The service was excellent - delicious food, brilliant varieties for breakfast - just to note not all hotels like this one offer inclusive breakfast and that was one of the reason we stayed here. The seafood was top notch and cooked to perfection - had the seabass and my partner had seabream. The room was of excellent quality and comfortable to stay in - very clean. I would definately stay here again and I would like to recommend others to do so as well. Just to add we were upgraded without asking to one of the seaview rooms which was a nice gesture as it was my partners birthday. Signed off with excellent customer service.

Park Central hotel is in great location, very close to the pier. Parking is pricey (£14 per day using the BIC), but convenient. Our room was not like those that appear in the photos and the bathroom was really very tiny, which surprised us for a 4* hotel. The restaurant food (evening meal) was very good as was the service. Breakfast however had a different feel and seemed a bit limited.

Booked two rooms for a one night with my partner and two teenagers. The rooms were next to one another and really spacious. Our room was a little cold but when we told reception they boosted the heating. The location was brilliant for bournemouth town centre and really close to the pier and the beach. We parked in the car park right opposite for £14 for 24 hours which was ok. Breakfast was ok, had a choice from the menu, no real complaints. Would recommend this hotel and would definately return. The staff were very friendly and found the hotel to be clean. Thank you for a lovely stay

A great location, perched just above the pier opposite the BIC. Great contact from the hotel prior to our stay, booking Dinner and breakfast times, giving us details of the parking. Check-in was quick & friendly. Our room, wow! Paying extra for the sea view was worth every little bit extra. The sea was sparkling and the room so bright and airy. The 4 poster bed and sofa added to the character of the room. Dinner in The Crab restaurant downstairs was fabulous. A lovely bright, clean restaurant, tables well spaced, staff attentive, friendly and professional, what a great team. Food was lovely too. Hotel is well located near to the seafront and a short walk to the main shopping area. It was an east walk from the train station but the bus from the station stops just outside too. A great stay, lovely staff, made to feel very welcome.
