Hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Shame hotel did not provide more choice for breakfast as my son cannot have dairy however there are cafes close by. Great location and free parking a bonus. Would definitely book again in future.

Came to stay to meet up with some friends on the south coast. Applewood hotel was great, really clean rooms, nice hot shower (after having been in the freezing cold sea, was much appreciated). Staff were really friendly, and were happy for us to leave our cars for the day of departure

I have stayed here before, hence why I have returned. Friendly reception, free parking on site, good wifi in room. Whole place is clean and tidy, I stayed in single bed room this time (room 24) on 2nd floor. Had a ensuite which is "cosy". Lots of places in walking distance to go and eat. Will be back

Charlene and Tien are fabulous hosts, and their staff make you feel very welcome. Our room was very comfortable, overlooking the garden was beautifully clean. We also had a delicious English breakfast. Will return as very central hotel, near the beach. Thank you.

We had a wonderful stay thank you. I have stayed at your hotel several times,it's perfectly located for the BIC, shopping and the beach. Very comfy bed and breakfast kept us going until the afternoon. Thank you for your kind service. Will definitely book another trip 😉

Hotel convenient clean and spacious. Unfortunately radiators on bed room were not adequate enough and bedroom was cold also no heating in bathroom at all (radiator or towel rail) and was freezing. If staying more than 1 night would have complained

We had a lovely 2 night stay at the Applewood. The lady on duty was very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was lovely and the service was excellent.
Our family room was very clean and nicely decorated. It was cosy but more than enough room for the 4 of us with everything we needed including the lovely toiletries.
There were only a couple of things that would have made the stay absolutely perfect - There was no blind up at the bathroom window. It looks like it had previously been there as the track was there but there were no lats and the pillows were quite flat. That didn't take away from the lovely couple of days we had though, and if we are down in Bournemouth again, we would definitely book here again.

The staff was very responsive to send us late check-in info after auf train was delayed for several hours because of a storm so we could get into our room after the official end of check-in time. The room was cozy and the bunk bed nice for the kids - the towel warmer was a nice touch. The only issue was that the room was left unlocked after the cleaning people tidyed it - it does not feel good to return to an open door when all our stuff is in the room (and there is no safe). Otherwise great place with personal touches!
