We stayed for 1 night with our 6 year old daughter visiting Cadbury World. Upon arrival we were checked in but didn't make to feel particularly welcome. It was quick efficient but the hosts didn't go the extra mile as in they didn't ask where we'd travelled from, if we needed any recommendations for places to eat or anything else. The room was really small. Probably been just about big enough for two but tidy for three of us. Bathroom the smallest I ever been in. There are no shops, pubs, restaurants in comfortable walking distance. We walked 1.3miles with a 6 yr old and ended up in McDonald's for our evening meal out of desperation. The bar at hotel was shut thorouout our stay! The power was off in the morning. There had been a power cut! The hosts were apologetic. Offered us cold breakfast cereal basically. After reading reviews were excited about the cooked breakfast which they couldn't deliver. We drive to near by Sainsbury's and had a cooked breakfast there. The couple didn't offer any alternative places to go we had to source this ourselves. They did offer s refund for breakfast if they hadn't we'd ask for it! The beds were comfortable and it was quiet and I had a good night's sleep. That's my only really positive.

Stay was overall great, location was perfect for us and the hotel was very clean. Room was very reasonably priced. Very comfortable beds so had a great nights sleep. Breakfast was also good and staff were friendly! Would definitely stay again. Thank you !

This Hotel is meant to have 3 stars but the standard ground floor rooms are cramped with no space around the bed and as the room is so small no room for a bedside cabinet. The room was clean with just a chair to sit on and if a couple the other party had to sit on the bed. Whilst the bed was comfortable the situation was not. The tea/coffee making facilities did not appear to have been pat tested and I'm not sure the spoke detector was working as they usually have an indicator light which was absent. The breakfast was ok but the sausages were very fatty and probably cheap with the bacon dry. It was ok I guess for two nights and probably suits workers who have to travel. Patsy and Dave are pleasant and run the bar which I thought was expensive but I haven't been to a pub lately. The hotel is conveniently located close to Cadbury World and Bournville Station which is a 19 minute walk away and will get you into Birmingham New Street station in about 15 minutes. I have been to better B&B's so I think this Hotel should be downgraded by losing a star.

Adequate breakfast. The place has a bar, but it's open, well, kind of unpredictably. We tried several times between 7:30 and 9:00, and it was always closed. Rooms are pretty small--132 sq ft (12.3 sq m) living area, 24 sq ft bathroom (2.3 sq m). No chair in room (there's no room). Indoor common areas close when bar is closed. Door to common area alarmed when closed Close to Cadbury property. Free parking.

It was VERY COLD. Heating was off, radiator didn’t work. Temperature at night was +2 on 11/11/23. No double glazing and no heating… It was quiet however and the bed was comfortable. Too cold to undress to have a shower.

This is a lovely little hotel, in a quiet location. The room was small but comfortable, looked out onto well-kept gardens. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the lady doing the breakfasts. All very relaxed and unfussy, and I would certainly stay there again.

This hotel seemed very nice, parking spaces, very nice friendly staff, quick easy check in. We slept so badly though. The bed was very small and uncomfortable, it can't have been a proper double bed. I'm 5ft 3 and my feet pretty much hung off the bottom of it! 6ft 2 husband was very uncomfortable. For the price I think they definitely need bigger beds. Much less comfortable than a premier inn, and more expensive. Wouldn't stay again due to the bed.

Nice hotel, good value, friendly staff and owners. Rooms are fairly basic but fine for what we needed. The location is good and the garden gives the place a nice feel. The only downside is that the bar was closed both evenings we stayed. Seems poor to advertise the presence of a bar but not actually open it.
