Nous sortons de table au restaurant du château de Chissay et ne regrettons pas d'en avoir poussé la porte. Tout était absolument parfait, aucune fausse note de l'instant où nous avons franchi le seuil au moment où nous avons léché notre assiette des desserts :-) Carte courte (gage de fraîcheur) et produits délicieux préparés avec raffinement. Service souriant, irréprochable, et rapport qualité prix très juste. Vraiment, merci pour ce merveilleux moment. Nous reviendrons avec bonheur !

A huge disappointment after the money already spent. It IS an impressive building with obvious history to it, but to justify the prices they need to seriously renovate the place in ALL areas. Our room was just so old and not what we expected for the price paid. It was spacious and the bed was comfortable but the decor, amenities and bathroom were extremely poor. Dinner was disappointing.. not terrible but not worth the money we paid - I have no idea why Table du Roy is even on the list of "where to go" at all. Breakfast was a disgrace for charging an extra €18pp. The scrambled eggs on offer were actually green. Chef and management should go to a hotel that offers breakfast at a similar rate and see what they have to offer. The staff however were very kind and helpful and the location was excellent.

Très bon séjour de trois nuits au château de chissay. La chambre était très spacieuse avec deux espaces séparés parents , enfants . Chambre très propre seul bémol l’isolation phonique mais c’est un château donc rien de surprenant . La piscine chauffée très propre : serviettes mise à disposition et brassards pour enfants . Petit déjeuner copieux avec des produits locaux . Personnel très accueillant et chaleureux

A beautiful place with incredible views. A beautiful heated swimming pool below allowing you to relax on a deckchair. Lovely and smiling staff. Spectacular interior courtyard with the possibility of snacking or having a drink. Very good restaurant in the castle, book in advance. Long waiting times between main course. Lots of people this weekend so perhaps a little delay in the kitchen… nice room for dinner and very correct menu 30 euros starter main course or main course dessert and 39 for starter main course dessert. 18 euros breakfast, sincerely for the price I do not recommend it remains very limited and not up to the level of the service provided despite a very good homemade cake. Bedroom on the 3rd, air conditioning and fan, bathroom with bathtub. Be careful, however, if the heat is terrible under the roof and there are wood bugs everywhere, in the corridors and in the rooms. I admit that personally it bothers me even though we are obviously in a magnificent period place. A mixed experience in this place that is both elegant and rich in history. Large green space around and central location for visiting the castles. 🏰
