This was an amazing experience from the moment we drove up to the beautifully lit chateau, and were met in the drive. Our bags were carried up for us to a beautifully and historically appointed, comfortable and spacious room. Dinner was not served at the restaurant that evening, and we had purchased some fruit, cheese and wine. The owner graciously offered to set a table for us in the breakfast room, with beautiful dishes and wine glasses and an opener. It was most romantic! It was difficult to make choices at breakfast, with so many fresh and delicious options! The grounds are gorgeous, and we enjoyed walking outside, seeing the statue and the beautiful little hidden spots there. It is not often that we get to stay somewhere that actually has a moat surrounding it! The owners are approachable, speak English, are friendly and go out of their way to accommodate. They could not have been any more hospitable. The history of this home is incredible, and the grandmother of the owner was discussed at our tour of Chateau Fontainbleu. Her picture was on the tour, and the same picture hung in our room. If you enjoy authenticity and hospitality, this is the place for you! It was beautifully furnished, very comfortable, and clean. The owners are very friendly and will make you feel welcome.

My wife and I stayed here for one night to visit the Fontainebleau Palace. We arrived and checked-in via the automated system with no problems at all. A very nice gentelman came out to check up on us and showed us where the parking garage was. We really appreciated the hotel's parking and it was easy for us to unpack our luggage and go right up to our room via the elevator. Our room was big, clean and most importantly in August; cool! The bed was comfortable. The hotel is located about 5 minutes walk from the palace and this was great for our visit. We had breakfast in the morning, and found it good. The staff was very active and replenishing items for breakfast every few minutes. Highly recommended.

The location is quite good, opposite the Fontainebleau Palace, very quiet at night, there is parking lot, the room is not bad, the twin bed is big and comfortable, the breakfast is simple, slightly expensive, the public rest room is good, you can read the book and listen to music.

The check-in time of the hotel is a bit harsh. We arrived at 7 o’clock in the evening, but when we arrived, there was no one in the lobby. The back was passed through. The phone at the door communicated, and I checked in. I knew I could self-service by phone. Checking in, in fact, there is no need to compulsory check-in at 4-7 pm, so we don’t have to rush.

The rooms are relatively small, but very new and clean. The bed is also very comfortable. Although there is no kettle in the room, the hot water machine in the hotel restaurant can heat water at any time. The front desk staff of the hotel are young and very warm and friendly. It’s free on Sunday, but when we left on the last day (Monday), I originally paid the fare, but the toll payment machine suddenly crashed. Then I started to find that the parking ticket didn’t have any charging information. The solution had to be handed in again. Irritating. I strongly suspected that it was bullying foreigners, and I had no problem choosing the French interface after leaving the field once. This time I owed my hand and I chose English, and this was the result. There is a Chinese restaurant nearby which makes very good beef noodles.

The level of international hotel chains should be good, there is a swimming pool, in a forest. But you need a car, otherwise it is inconvenient to enter and exit. The cups and drinking cups in the room are all plastic, not evaluated, personal preference. But it doesn't feel like the hotel grade.
