Regular locals and cane for my wife’s birthday with a group of 20 friends. Service was superb and made the occasion extra special. Will keep coming back. Attention to detail is excellent and the staff are great to be around. Makes for an enjoyable stay

Booked a wedding anniversary dinner for my wife and I in the restaurant. Wonderful food which was well presented and good value for money. Excellent professional service from the young staff looking after the tables. Will be back the next time we pass through the area....

Lovely rooms but just one thing … disappointed that no drinks were available after 10:45pm because the bar closes at 11pm even though we were residents!

Booked the accessible room 11 months ago and found out by accident that the wetroom has been removed. No-one contacted me , despite me having emailed requesting for wheelchair user, said they were unaware. Very disappointed at their lack of regard. Also still states on website they have a room with wetroom. Now i am in position of coming unable to use bath/shower or try to find somewhere else at short notice. Unprofessional !

Ambience delightful, food 'yummy', staff friendly and helpful. Will be visiting again. We arrived over 35 mins late as son got one of the digits wrong on the satnav! We did 'phone and they were very understanding about it. We had 3 courses, all of which were delicious.

All the staff, apart from the receptionist, were exceptionally helpful, and the room was comfortable, albeit a little small for the price, £280 for one night bed and breakfast. The receptionist on duty when we arrived seemed to enjoy making our life difficult, and this unfortunate experience put us off ever returning to what is undoubtedly a lovely hotel.

We went for afternoon tea and were disappointed , the cakes were dry and stale . We had to wait over half an hour and still no tea and when we asked were told "you have to ask for it "we had poor service there was a young lad who did his best but the others were poor. it is a stunning setting but the service let them down and the quality poor

The staff got orders mixed up, the food was worse than McDonald's, over priced and over rated. It costs £80 for 3 people. One good thing is that it was clean however this doesn't make up for how terrible it is, please don't go here it's a complete waste of time and money.
