Like two weeks ago in Ludres, I was overtaken by the Concierge with money claims that were not explainable in part. I had booked on Trip and used Coins. The hotel must at least know that the room is paid. Dumb foreigners take off? The hotel I know for a long time. The rooms are a little bigger than in the neighboring IN hotel and now have a refrigerator and a Senseo machine (photo). The hotel has an elevator and some rooms have a valley view. For the return journey to the Netherlands, we were looking for a hotel for one night near the motorway. With Kyriad we made a good choice in our experience. The hotel was very clean, well-equipped and spacious, but there was no TV but the wifi allows you to follow a program on the phone, tablet or computer. The closed parking is included in the price . The area is quiet and is located 5 minutes from the city centre by car . The only small bemol is the absence of any person at the reception during this holiday period, which could have been problematic in case of concern. We stayed one night in this charming and beautifully renovated and decorated hotel. It was located in a quiet area within walking distance of the old town. Our room was on the ground floor, just off the pretty courtyard. Initially this seemed a perfect spot, but it had its disadvantages: temperatures were exceptionally high and the room had no air conditioning - a ventilator was provided but was too noisy to keep on all night. Opening the window didn't help much, as we were obliged to keep the curtains closed to avoid being disturbed by light coming from what I assume was the kitchen on the other side of the courtyard. We were also woken by noise from the kitchen and people taking an early breakfast in the courtyard. If not for this, I would have given an 'excellent' rating. For a future stay I would choose one of the larger, cooler and more richly decorated rooms on the upper floor. The staff was helpful and very welcoming, the breakfast was plentiful and good value for money: organic cheese and yoghurt, muesli, fresh fruit juice, tasty bread and pastries. I very much appreciated too that we could help ourselves to water from a fridge in the hallway and that we had teamaking facilities in our room. I would definitely return to this hotel and recommend it. Nancy is a beautiful city, definitely worth a visit!

Breakfast is OK, typical French breakfast, dessert is mostly, but it is more monotonous, not very fancy, if you want any special food, you need to ask the waiter separately. The room style and layout are good, belongs to the French retro style, but the area is not big, the facilities are more advanced than the domestic luxury hotel, is the tone of the rural retro. Stayed here for one night as part of a group. The room was very nice but the air con was on so high that it was freezing. The bed was very comfortable but hot and the sheet slipped because of the waterproof cover underneath. Why is that necessary? The bathroom was good and the shower was efficient. Breakfast was good with lots of choice and it was great to get fruit. However we were not made welcome in the restaurant in the evening. We were a group of 4 and we were told that as we were part of the group from the bus we could not have a meal and could only order a pizza and take it to our room. I do not like food in my room and I was eating with friends as we were all in different rooms. Eventually we were told we could eat it in the restaurant but we’d have to order it from the bar. So we went to the bar and waited for 10 minutes then we were told to go back to the table and they’d serve us. We were served eventually then waited for ages for the pizza and after all that it was quite disappointing. They also ran out of Coca Cola Zero. The most annoying thing was to at there were quite a few of us there from the bus and lots of others were eating from the normal menu. We felt like 2nd class citizens. Your restaurant let you down in my star rating.
