Check in was quick and painless. The view was of frat row on WKU's campus.
The reviews were a little misleading on cleanliness when I originally booked. The hair dryer was super sticky and full of lint. Shower had hair on the glass doors from the previous visitor. When I went to use the desk for work, there was a weird glob of sticky that my mouse ran over (gross).
The bed was mediocre and too firm for my liking. The town hall clock also plays music every hour for a few minutes that can be heard inside the room when trying to rest.
Also the remote was sticky and some of the buttons did not work.
The stay overall was not horrible.....just very sticky.

The location was good in that it was close to the places we were visiting and eating at. The location was bad in that on Friday night, while trying to get to sleep, first was a train, then extremely loud cars running up and down the street, and then to past midnight, a very LOUD group of people somewhere nearby. So, for sleeping, not so hot. Also, I PRE checked in online and requested that they not come into the room for cleaning or anything like that, but they came in anyway. Just do NOT understand why they ask questions like that if they're not going to pay attention. When I talked to someone at the front desk about it, they just made excuses.

This is a well run Hotel. The people upfront are friendly and helpful. It's the little things that make this place stand out. Fruit infused water as you walk in the lobby. Free coffee (two kinds!) in the morning, a very good breakfast buffet and covered parking all included in the price of your stay. Clean, comfortable and well located in Bowling Green, away from the madness of the mall area.

We stayed at the Hyatt Place as a midway point on travel and wanted to check out a new city we haven't been to. This is conveniently located on the beautiful campus of Western Kentucky. Plenty of restaurants and bars to walk to from the hotel. We had an issue at check-in with our reservation not showing up in their system, however, the exceptionally friendly staff was able to quickly resolve that issue. It was likely due to a Hyatt reservation outage that unfortunately happened around the same time I made the reservation. The hotel was very clean, parking was easy and in a garage attached to the hotel. The breakfast was sufficient, but did lack a bit of variety. But most importantly, the rooms were clean and the staff was phenomenal. The pool area was very nice, but it was out of season so we didn't use it. Overall, I would definitely stay here again if my travel brings me this direction.

The location couldn't be better for this Hyatt property. However, if staying in a suite with a kitchen, bring your own cutlery, cups, plates, etc. As though it gave all the outward appearance of a fully equipped kitchen, there was none of the expected accessories. Otherwise, the room fit our needs perfectly and the Internet was great (the kitchen table provided a perfect setting for a mobile home office and the TV located on it (in addition to two other TVs in the room) helped a lot.
