"The place was amazing and situated in a great place. Very near to a lot of amenities like bars and restaurants plus some shops. The staff were amazing and so polite. We was made to feel like we was at home. Our room was huge and had a great view of the gardens. Breakfast was outstanding and very tasty highly recommend. We will definitely be staying here again in the future"

"The decor is quite modern, though there's no fridge in the room. The service was exceptional; we were escorted to our room and given a thorough introduction to all the facilities. The SPA had an overpowering chlorine smell, but the pools themselves were good. The terrace boasts beautiful views, perfect for whiling away an afternoon. The family room offers excellent value for money, functioning essentially as a two-bedroom unit. It's conveniently located very close to the port."

"The hotel is in a great location the staff are very helpful & pleasent however the hotel & rooms are tired & a bit small. There isn't a fridge in the room, the bathroom nightlight didn't work nor did the hairdryer it was also not possible to turn the towel heating rail off so having it on all day & night caused the room to be constantly hot (no air con). The bathroom is small however the shower was excellent unfortunately the shower tray had a couple of large cracks which had been covered over with (discoloured) tape which made it look scruffy. Breakfast was average, the breakfast room looked like it was waiting for an overhaul & the food was limited but ok. Not sure I would stay here again there are other hotels for a similar price that, despite the lack of sea view, are far superior."

"The landlord couple is very friendly and welcoming, helping us book a car and recommend a tourist route. The room is clean, the toiletries are upscale and the breakfast is plentiful. A short distance from the town, but very good, quiet, and can walk along the lake, to enjoy the lake view, a beautiful experience. highly recommended!"

"Upon check-in, I was upgraded to a room with a balcony. There was a welcome letter, and the toiletries were all local – The Bath House. The hotel has a secluded location and is beautifully decorated both inside and out. You can pre-book dinner at the hotel's Michelin-starred restaurant. The breakfast was also plentiful, and the staff were very welcoming."

"The family hotel on the mountainside of Windermere Lake has a beautiful view. No elevator is a flaw, but the boss is super nice to help us carry our luggage and deliver it to the room. Breakfast is semi-buffet, part of it is made now, although the food is almost the same, but it is still super plus points."

"The location is great. Breakfast was good and delicious. Room is acceptable. The downside is there are limited parking onsite. This caused quite a bit of angst every night for our 3 nights at the hotel."
