Stayed here for one night as we had an early crossing on the Channel Tunnel the next day. For an overnight stay it was very good, bed comfortable, room clean, big, lots of space. We did the meal deal so had a 2 course dinner which was good and breakfast the next day. We were the first in the restaurant for breakfast as we had an early departure so all food was freshly cooked and was good. For what we paid £35 for the room and meal deal £27.99 each we thought it good value. Nicely located too just off the M20. One thing they could consider is putting usb plugs in the rooms

As far as the actual hotel goes, it is slightly tired but not too bad, however the breakfast next door was a disgrace! Filthy dirty area, plates, cutlery, chairs, table sticky, bacon had hardly seen a hot pan! Due to this we will not be using this hotel again.

Hotel ok. Breakfast diabolical and eating area dirty. Coffee machine not working, no cups no plates no bowls no fruit water spilt all over the floor which several people slipped on. when we asked if we could order our breakfast we were told that they were very short staffed and would get to us asap which took 45mins. If you are going to offer breakfast you should make sure you have the staff to cover this.

Great location if you're looking for somewhere close to the motorway. Food in the local Beefeater was dreadful. Mixed grill was tiny and not worth the money, neither was the cooked breakfast which was a tenner and was very poor indeed. Love the hotel, great location but the food lets it down and is expensive.

When to this premium inn along time ago and love it. But this time the place has gone down him .the location was good, but the place its self needs a good refit. Our room smelt of damp and the bathroom was cold and the damp smell was even worse

The check in was easy, the staff helpful and polite and the room clean and well maintained as usual for this class of Hotel. The rooms feel a little dated but this is more of an observation than a fault, though for the per night price its reasonable to expect better. The wifi is a real pain is it disconnects you every 10 minutes or so to ask yet again if you want to pay £5 a night for the upgraded WiFi - this becomes a bigger problem as there is no phone reception in my room and the tv has no signal, so its voip and streaming over wifi or bring a book. The hotel shares a carpark with a beefeater restaurant where meals are provided if you have them included in your room. This could be a good or bad thing depending on how much you enjoy beefeater hospitality. The rest is just ok, nothing stands out as particularly good or bad, but personally I'll look elsewhere in the future as I feel that there is better to be had for the same money.

Poor organisation. Had problem after problem. On arrival for my room with my 2 kids, member of staff had to let us in our room as the ‘key was misplaced’. Later after a family function when my dad tried to check in to his room that I had booked for him they told Him there was no such booking! This was 12.30am. I was asleep in my room with my children and had to be awoken to come to reception to show the booking confirmation email! It still took nearly 30 mins with them insisting there is no room for him. Eventually he was given one. Then when they asked me what room I was in and I told them they said ‘you can’t be there is a man booked in to that room!’ Which alarmed me even further and thought no wonder why the ‘key was lost!’. I spent the rest of the night on edge trying to get back to sleep that this so called man might try and access the room myself and children was in! Complete mess of booking and couldn’t wait for the morning to leave! Emailed guest relations and was told ‘we offer a apology’. Not enough …. Complete waste of £117 for my room and £107 for the other! Would never stay again…. And a ‘sorry’ is simply insulting and a poor way of ‘putting right’ a bad experience made by business. Will stay at other chain hotels in future
