Very tired Days Inn. Old with mold in our shower.

I tried to check in via phone and called, no joke, 30 times and no one would answer. I even had two others call from a different number to validate they weren’t just ignoring my calls. Again, no one answered from 7:30pm Friday night until noon Saturday. I finally gave up after that. They then proceeded to cancel our reservation as a no show. Called the Hampton Inn and they answered on the first call AND gave us a room at a discounted rate due after I explained our circumstances!!! Kudos to Hampton Inn.

Sadly, not great. Booked 2 queen beds, got 2 full. The carpet was thread bare. The bathroom was far from impressive, rusty makeup mirror and shower handle, floor would flood during showers, holes in the walls. Hall carpets extremely worn and dirty. Room was hot and stuffy on arrival had to set a/c and 62 to get comfortable throughout stay. Staff was nice. Good water pressure. Bed comfortable but smaller than booked.

The Hot Tub was not working. The heat in our room was not working. A plug socket was hanging out of the wall. The towel rods in the bathroom were missing. We were moved to another room, where there was no heat. We were moved to a 3rd room, where the TV didn't work. The TV didn't work.

Overall a very mid level experience. Parts of the bathroom could have been cleaner but for the price it more than got the job done. Very nice room for the price. Also I half expected it to be in an unsafe area but it wasn’t. Safe location, clear cut and to the point staff which I love considering I only wanted to use it as a place to sleep. I love the little binder they give you as it had any information about the hotel and surrounding areas that I could need. Absolutely would stay here again and would recommend it to everyone looking for a place to stay in the area.
